No, I can't tell if "A" fan is bad while the machine is running. Once it's tested and proven faulty, so be it. My computer has seven fans. With the new one in place, the box runs much quieter and functions as it always did. That's just my diagnostic guess, and I'm asking others for their opinions/experiences. If I'm an idiot for asking, well, so be that also.

Computer crashed dead twice while playing WAW last week. Played a game or two of COD2 during the week, and it was fine. Crashed dead again today while playing COD4. Took it apart for a good cleaning, but things weren't that dirty. While it was apart, powered things up and noticed a case fan turning erratically. Replaced that fan and everyting is running rosey again. Could one fan draw enough amps to force the power supply to shut down under load?
