Yeah, not too many games will take advantage of the cores. But I do other cpu intensive stuff. Plus when I upgrade I use it for years. I usually upgrade GPU's before a new build, but didnt this round. Hell my CPU came out in October of 2012 and I think I built this pc in May of 2013. So its 6 years old. And my GPU is from 2013 also a Nvidia GTX-660ti. So Im due

Getting ready to build. Going with the AMD 1950X Threadripper, and a 2070 GPU. Still looking at boards, but leaning towards Gigabyte X399 Gaming 7 or maybe the X399 Xtreme TR4.

I installed 10 on a laptop a few years back and immediately forced updates to stop (manual). Not as easy as forcing 7 to stop in "process manger". If you stopped and selected manual start in 10 , it would restart a few days later or sooner on its own. Fuckers. So it took some digging but, I found a stop. Glad to hear they are realizing "updates" can mess with programs that people rely on in both business and relaxing. But I read its not a complete stop of the service (end of service updates still happen). I will just keep using the version I got. I know its update is dead in its tracks.

I am so glad I grew up in the late 60 and 70's. And Im glad I raised my kids to have "Tough Skin" too. To take criticism and learn from it. Not to be one of those kids we all know. Same here my KDR is ridiculous sometimes. Meaning I die more than I kill But I like to throw grenades alot. And it depends on whether I focus on the game at hand too. Sometimes beer and bud may come in to play. Dont care if someone is better or has a faster pc and connection. I just care about "SPAWN RAPING BITCHES !!!!! Boy Im beating that dead horse. There is a huge difference in "hacking" and "taking advantage of game exploits". What do I mean by "exploits"..... what I mentioned earlier about a player many complain about. He is a good player, but if he doesn't take advantage of exploits he is just like many of our good clan players. Anyone can google "specific maps" and learn spawn points and the spawn point rotations and take advantage. And thats what many of the "great players" do. Maybe crank up the spawn protection to help with "that issue" ?

I have no problem with professional players who dont use a hack. Its when they exploit spawn points !! Thats is the issue. Not just camping a spawn, but learning the spawn points and running them. I never bitch much about stuff, but I had an issue with Everette "Spawn Raping" me. He knew when and where I was spawning and pick me off at every spot. Hell I even stood up for his ass when others bitched. Not now !!

Here is my issue. Many "professional" players run the spawn points. Thats it. Had that happen to me the other night with a player that many dont like. Had a full crew playing and one by one they left. Was just me and the player in question and he was just spawn raping me. He was up on high ground and just scoped the sequential spawn points and picked me off. That is not a "professional" player. Thats against the rules.

Install a "line lock" !! Then add a windshield wiper pump and reservoir in the trunk. Install the wiper pump nozzles through the rear wheel wells. Fill tank with bleach and let the fun begin !!!!

Die hard Gigabyte fan when it comes to motherboards. Better caps than most. Wish DFI would enter the consumer motherboard arena again. The LanParty series were unstoppable !!! The first overclocking friendly board. Now they just make "Industrial" boards.
