Got it working. I replaced the main cod2mp.exe file with another copy and now I can get into the Blackbart server. Strange it didnt effect joining any other server. But.... Stanger shit happens.

Not sure whats going on, but here is my issue. I went to join the Black Bart server and upon clicking on it from the server browser, my computer screen goes black and just hangs. Now any other sever on the web I can join, no issue. Just the BlackBart server. Strange. I have tried reinstalling latest COD2 patch, deleted the XIDM config file and tried a different config files. Newer drivers too. I get no error messages what so ever. Just a black screen. I close the black screen using "task manager" and it even says COD2 is running. Usually any issue will show up as "not responding" . Like I mentioned earlier, its just the BlackBart server. All others work great. Weird.

Nah. I shy away from 8 tracks. There are those who collect 8-Tracks though. 8-Tracks were developed by Mr. Bill Lear. He is best known for Lear Jets I have a Akai combo tape deck that has 8 Track, Cassette and Reel to Reel players on it. On the back it says "Under License from Lear Corporation" . Interesting stuff. Anyway get those tapes out of the shed !!! Shed/Garage storage of tape or vinyl is a big no no !!! Now if those 8 Tracks are "Classic Rock" tapes, then you definitely need to get them out of the heat. And make sure if the tapes have a "foam" pressure pads, that they are not deteriorated. You can find replacement pads and they are easy to change. But classic rock 8 tracks can fetch a little money on eBay or Reverb.com Depends on artist. But dig them out and see what you have !!!

We do not have many "Woke" in Ohio. Only in the big cities for the most part. Hell California and New York have the distinction of being the "Woke" states. Wokeness is like Disco. I agree !!! Here in Ohio you have to take an online test to be able to operate one. And in Ohio 12-15 year old's have to have an adult ride with them. We own a cabin on a lake here in Ohio and I see so, so many 12-15 year old's turned loose on them, WITHOUT an adult passenger. And they never follow any of the rules. Especially the NO WAKE ZONE areas. Run the fuckers over !!!

Oh I guarantee it would beat me off the line. Hell my minivan will out 60' me A friend has a Tesla (not the X) and we did a drag race. Blew me away off the line, but I reeled him in after the 1/8th mile mark. I'd give the "X" model a good race seeing how my car and the X run the 1/4 in under 10 seconds and 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds. And I have to shift gears !!!! Kevlar clutch baby !!!

Not to rain on the parade. But Mini Coopers are expensive to work on and very unreliable. Our neighbor had two and returned both under the lemon law. Google Mini reliability. Doesn't rate very well. But they do say any produced from 2019 on are better.

Oh the pleasures of being a slumlord !!! Growing up my parents had rentals and my childhood was spent working on them when renters moved out. I've seen some crazy shit. But I learned how to do construction and repairs and I am very grateful for that. I was using a circular saw, drills and other power tools at age 9. And throughout my life I did everything on our personal homes myself and with help of my kids. But I refused to get into the rental business. Too many headaches !!! Now flipping a property is fine. But seeing how the housing market is going to crash in the next year or so, even flipping is a risk.

I mentioned before during the 70's, everyone was buying "locking gas caps". Back then the gas caps on 99% of all cars were not behind a locking door. Siphoning others gas was a big deal !!! Especially in my area where farmers have huge gas tanks to fill equipment. Kids would take 5 gallon cans and go around town at night siphoning tanks. Or better yet find a farmer with no lock on his filling station tank. Crazy ass kids !!!! Oh wait, I was a teenager then.

I was in school during the embargo of the 70's. I remember everyone running out and buying locking gas caps. Buying mopeds, bicycles, motorcycles, and wait for it !!!!!!!!!! The 1973 Honda Civic !!! What a cool little car it was !!!

I was making the point that the term "Assault Rifle" can be used to describe any weapon used to "Assault" someone. Hell a damn BB gun could be an "Assault" rifle if used to "Assault" some one. See where I going ? The term "Assault Rifle" is used as much as the term "Racist" by extremists' on the left to further their agenda. We all know anyone who doesn't agree with them is "Racist" !! Well Pete you called them "Assault Rifles" which is not true. And the "Assault Rifle" ban did not ban AR-15's. It banned gun manufacturers from selling weapons with a magazine capacity over 10 rounds. It required a "Fixed" stock and a "Pinned" flash suppressor. Did that do anything to deter "Crazies" ? No. Anyone can go to an auction, gun show or any gun shop (online or brick & mortar) and buy parts to modify it. You can replace the fixed stock with a collapsible one and even change the barrel and purchase "hi capacity" magazines. The AR is the most popular rifle sold and is pretty reasonable in price. So naturally it will be used more often. Columbine was an Aimpoint 995 Mini and other "Non" AR-15 styles weapons. If the most popular car produced cause more vehicular homicides from crazies running people over, do we ban them ???? Where does the banning stop ??? And do not forget it was a "legal" gun owner with an AR-15 that put a stop to the Southerland Springs shooters rampage.

I just wish idiots would stop referring that the AR15 is an "Assault Rifle". AR does not stand for "Assault Rifle". And rifles based on the AR15 lower receiver design, come in many calibers, including shotguns. So to ban a weapon based on looks is asinine. But I do agree the application process for any weapon should be an in depth process. I hold a couple different type of firearms license and the process for them was way, way, more stringent than just buying an over the counter gun. Im talking, fingerprints, registering with the local sheriffs department, and a wait of several months for the detailed background check to get processed. But..... thats for law abiding owners. Criminals dont buy through local gun dealers. In my neck of the woods every weekend there is a gun auction, or an estate auction with guns going on. No background checks at these events. So this debate is pretty much a mute subject.

We will never reach the goal you are describing until we get free renewable energy worldwide. Solar and Wind will not cut it. Nuclear fusion reactors are the way to get us there. If the world would pool together to get a cheap reliable fusion reactor developed, we would get there quick. Think tanks are working on it, but its still a ways out. And maybe by combining resources one could be done sooner. Or if we can find a huge supply of Dilithium Crystals, that would help too

I hope you or a family member are never a victim. Cause if their death could have been prevented by them defending themselves, I suspect your "tune" would change. Those of us with common sense know, getting rid of handguns will not change a damn thing. Take away the guns and they will use whatever they can find to kill. But hey, I respect anyone's decision to not defend themselves and or their loved ones. Just dont count on my gun carrying ass to save you Your choice to be preyed on.
