  1. Kids great !! My cousin started drums at age 3 and is a monster now at age 32. Will be interesting to follow this young guy as he gets older.
  2. Been a Bengals fan since Paul Brown started it way back when. Rest of my family are die hard Browns fans . Was a fucking nail bitter of a game. All the playoff games have been great. Wanted 49ers to win, since we played them the past two times the Bengals went to the Bowl. But thats OK !!! Who Dey !!! Ickey Woods was there !!!
  3. I've been tired of snow and cold winters for the last 10 years. Love to move to Florida or Hawaii or somewhere with warm winters, but cant get the old lady to do so !!!
  4. Doom Patrol on HBO is pretty cool too. Different.
  5. We dumped Spectrum TV and just kept internet. We switched to YouTube TV and have been extremely happy with it. Unlimited DVR was a plus for me. So we have YouTube TV, Netflix (stream), Prime (which I may drop), and HBO+. I got Prime so I could watch "The Grand Tour", but thats about it. HBO+ offers quite a bit of content and I really enjoy the DC Comic franchise series. Oh I forgot we have Hulu too, just because they offered a year for $69. Not sure if we will renew that one. Have you looked at Redbox app for renting latest movies ?
  6. And to think the military were going to retire it. I worked on the A10 as well as other military fighter programs for 30 years (retired). Man I miss the hands on work, but not management.
  7. Maybe you should watch a video he does. May enlighten you. He just goes over latest data that gets released. Nothing political or "conspiracy theory" bullshit. Just the facts Jimbo.
  8. Latest episode he was talking with a virologist. I didn't realize there are millions of different types of viruses out there. Crazy. And of course viruses are an important part of the ecosystem.
  9. Dr. John Cambell gives daily covid updates in a very easy to understand and non political manner !!! Good stuff. This is from today.
  10. What a Tool
  11. I was exposed to all sorts of chemicals during my 30 years in the aerospace business. Fucking MEK, Naphtha, Trichloroethylene, Bromide, Perchloroethylene, and multiple epoxies, coolants and sealants. And of course this was back when MSDS sheets and employee health issues where not a thing. You dont need no stinking gloves !!! Who knows what organ damage this shit has done. But then again when we were kids we broke thermometers and played with the mercury !!! But with drinking water the deeper you drill your well the more natural filtering takes place. If your on municipal water, they give annual reports on contaminates. Our local towns water systems where high in Trichloroethylene, Bromide and Perch. All caused by 3 local factories dumping shit for 50 years unchecked. Those factories were part of a class action suit (which I initiated) and now our town has a multi million dollar filter system. This all happened back in 2004. But the filter systems of today do a great job on these cancer causing contaminates.
  12. Thanks Bob. The report just shows its everywhere people. And the link posted is a report on how natural immunity, especially break thru cases (like mine was) have shown greater immunity factor afterwards. No one knows for sure, even the powers at be are grasping at straws. Live your life !!! Dont let the germaphobes in power control it. Its the new common cold and its everywhere !!!
  13. Seems Orange County Florida's wastewater is full of it. I bet if any municipal water systems were tested it would show up there too. Its the new flu people, get over the mask mandates !!! Let us all live free !!! And die hard !!!! Also it seems that researchers are finding that those who get breakthrough infections are coming out with superman immunity !!! Up to 1000 times the immunity of a round of vaccines. Link to article https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2787447
  14. Fuck, I would need liquid drain-o to clean out my arteries !!! Im at the age where I eat what I eat. You only live once !!! Now fix me up some frog legs and snapping turtle !!!!
  15. Want some potato to go along with all that cheese and sour cream ? Or how about a reamer to ream out all that artery blockage !!! Is that ground pepper ?
  16. My GPU in my studio pc is crazy old. It renders fine, just cant max out the dpi of the tv. Time to look.
  17. What are you running ? Autodesk Maya ? Always wanted to mess with it. Im familiar with AutoCAD, from my CNC days. I have a 3d Printer which I put together, but have not used yet. Still need to install the Z axis touch probe. Life keeps me busy. But animation has always fascinated me. On the monitors, I use to use 2 monitors in my music studio, but switched to a 40" 4K TV. I just run several large scale windows with it. I do need to get a better video card for it though. My current is a few years old and will not max out the TV's max resolution. Issue is I need a passive cooled GPU, due to fan noise. And I have not checked lately to see what's available.
  18. Been building my own since the 286 days. Back when hard drives where 4 times the size now. And 5 1/4 floppies where the norm. I buy most of my gear now a days from Microcenter. I have two stores close by. Last Christmas my daughters husband wanted a gaming PC for Christmas. Well I didnt have time to put one together so we bought him a prebuilt gaming rig from Microcenter. Their Power Spec brand. I have to say its a nicely built system that has had zero issues a year later. All name brand components. And very little bloatware installed. If I remember just a trial of Norton's Antivirus. You might check them out. If you live close to one of their stores you can always go there too. Huge ass stores !!! 19. I wrote a song about mowing, years ago !!!!
  20. More detail on these remixes. When these bands record, they have many takes of different instruments that do not make the final mix. Or they are pushed back in the mix to the point you barely hear them. Due to limitations, not every sound can make the final mix. Think of making a pie. You can only put so much ingredients into the pan. Too much and it becomes an unrecognizable mess. What they do in these remixes is keep the original base ingredients, but remove some of the extra ones and replace with different ones. And those new instruments where recorded during the original sessions. I like it. Makes for a new listening experience. I recommend any Beatles fans to listen to the originals and then the new Giles Martin ones. If your a vinyl fan (and have a descent turntable), those new pressings sound great. Same with the new Zeppelin pressing Jim Page did. Nice sounding pressings.
  21. You have to remember. All of the Beatles albums have been remixed and re-released throughout the years. The latest Gyles Martin mixes are some of my favorites. You will hear different instruments brought forward in the mixes. Also remember with the Tele... Jim Page used one almost exclusively on the first two albums. And a small Fender Champ amp.
  22. Copper out the ass !!!
