I love to see that !!! I just built a copy of the Gibson Corvus model and installed a Fishman pickup in it. Those pickups are different. Not a traditional copper wound pickup. Very high gain. More gain than EMG 81's !! But also have a nice clean tone also when the volume is dialed back. I put a Fender Tele style neck on it. Love the neck. So its a Fender Gibson inspired hybrid !! I planning on buying a CNC router to do my own necks and too speed up body fabrication. Laid everything out by hand on this one and used power hand tools. Took a while. But the results are outstanding. As far as other weird guitars. I never owned a Dean Guitar and came across this Dean, Michael Shenker Strangers in the Night model years ago. These I believe came out in 2012 ? The bridge pickup on this model is the "Lights Out" pickup. Very nice passive pickup. I've played it handful of times (still minty fresh). It mostly hangs on the wall Not an expensive guitar by any means. But it is extremely well made and plays great.

Hope you got it back !!! But then again it is a Gibson. Sorry, I've owned well over 20 Gibson's and have only found 2 keepers. Quality is all over the place with Gibson. I still have a Gibson Corvus II and a 2007 SG (GOTW) with three single coils and a chicken head pickup switch. Both are hard to find and play great. The Corvus was produced from 80-83 if I remember right. So ugly it didn't sell well. Was suppose to be a headless guitar, but Gibson changed their minds and put a headstock on it. Crazy. But get yours back !!! Dont lend shit out !!!

I always pick seats behind the mixing console when going to concerts. Best place for listening. Well, unless the sound man sucks. Been to a few of those. Went and saw Weezer years back and the opening band was Motion City Soundtrack and wow the mix was horrible !!! Thank goodness when Weezer came on the sound guy got his shit together.

I quit riding back around 2005. Traded a Suzuki GSXR750 for a Z car. Too many distracted drivers now a days to feel safe on a bike. Fuckin cell phones !!!! But my current Z is just as fast and I have some protection.

Scanners are getting cheap. And most auto parts stores will run "fault codes" for you. Many sensors are easily replaced. And YouTube video's abound on fixing specific vehicle issues. We developed a bad rocker tick in our 2014 Chrysler Minivan and my wife said lets just buy a new one. I told her thats crazy !! The van is in excellent shape and there is zero oil usage. So I bought a set of rockers for less than $100 and fixed it. Took a few hours in labor, but its back to normal. Even if I had to replace the motor, I would. Cheaper than junking it and buying another.

In my 44 years of driving I have only purchased two new vehicles. We buy 2 to 3 year old vehicles. Let someone else take the depreciation hit. As far as repairs I do them myself when I can. I put in a car lift a few years back and it didn't take long to pay for itself in labor savings. But I drive them till they fall apart from the rust !!

Where ever you go, stay out of Dem ran cities !!! Im serious. You need to move to rural USA. Buy a place with at least 3 acres (to plant shit). You will need to grow your own food soon. Or better, one with a stocked pond to fish, woods to hunt and land to have a descent garden. And as far as medical services, hell our small town has a hospital and many medical professionals. Plus country living is good for the body !!! Yee Haw !!!

Prices are dropping in our area. But only by an average of 5%. We may find that these high prices will be the norm. But I doubt it.

Your upload speed is nice, but download seems slow for "Fiber" ? But fiber can go up to 2,000 mbps where as cable maxes out around 940mbps. I'd jump on fiber if it offered 2,000 in my area. But Im lucky to have cable !!! Many spots close to me dont have cable at all and rely on DSL. My results below.

The Carolina's get good marks for retirees, and all around descent places to move too. As far as waterfront, Bayfront property would be fine with me. As long as there is boating !!! But I would stay away from "tourist" destinations. Thats just me. Quieter the better.

The market here in Ohio is still overvalued. People who bought in the last 2 years will never get back what they paid for their property. And this is a trend throughout the US. Sammy, realistically now is the time to sale and hold off on purchasing another property until the market drops. Then the profit on your condo will go farther. And the market is going to drop. I think within the next year. But.... I see your point on rent being so high. That alone would eat away at your profits till the market drops and your money goes farther. My wife and I own two properties, so I could sale one taking advantage of todays prices and move into the other. But there is sentimental value in our properties. Moving to a "lower cost of living" state is a viable option. Your proceeds from the sale of your California property will go a hell of a long way in other states. Let alone the savings on everyday items. Not sure what the value of your property is, but in our small country area for example. $389,000 will get you a 4 or 5 bedroom newer home with several acres. And thats in todays market prices. Good luck on deciding. Its a big deal.
