You are so right @JohhnyDos it is our generations fault. And the reason for it is simple really, when we were young our parents did not have spare cash to buy luxury toy's and gadgets it was a constant struggle to bring us kids up.. So what happens we think to our selves we want better for our kids and spend spend spend trying to give them a better life than we had. No hand me down clothes or home made toy's for our kids we took them on expensive holidays to foreign lands. And in the process softened them up they never had to make their own fun the art of playing with your mates in the street communicating and learning to look after them selves.. So yes we ruined our kids by kindness and it gets worse as there generation try's to improve their kids life even more not realising what damage is really being done.

No Sammy it may of not been spankings, But children learn from their parents and mentors as they grow up so good parenting teaches respect and good behaviour. Now all children like adults make mistakes and get in trouble and again its how we as parents react and make them face up to their mistakes that teaches kids the right way to behave like a caring adult. A prime example is one of my step sons when he was younger about 7 stole a pack of chewing gum when he was with his friends from our local shop. Did he get spanked NO I marched him back to the shop told the shop keeper what he had done and made him apologise then pay for it. Also 2 weeks of sweeping the shop floor every night after school taught him a valuable lesson and while there the shop keeper was brilliant and explained that everything he loses through theft takes food off his table now 11 years later I can honestly say he has never been in trouble again and is a very hard working young man. Unfortunately he party's hard too  I guess he learnt that bad habbit from me

Sammy I do not know about how you were raised and I will not get involved in whats right or wrong with regards parenting...... But my parents did teach me to respect them and if I did not there were consequences. And before you think I was beaten all the time I was not, in fact during my childhood my Father only hit me twice on my backside, the first time for burning down the greenhouse and the second was when a policeman bought me home after I was caught playing on a building site and climbing the scaffolding.. My Mother on the other hand had the fastest slipper in the west it would leave her foot into her hand and through the air to hit me on my backside from twenty paces in a split second, She never missed . What I am saying is I was far from being an Angel and got into trouble all the time mostly for fighting and coming home with cuts and bruises and ripped clothes. And with regards school and Teachers in my day you argued with a teacher, if it was not a piece of chalk flying in the air towards your head it was the Blackboard Rubber and if you really fucked up you were sent to the Head Master, There you would receive the cane to your hand for a first offence, and continue being a prat and it was the backside the next time. No at the time it was not fun but it did Teach me Respect....And that's what my point is Children need boundary's. The kids of today are running wild there is no Discipline no rules at home, the Teachers are afraid to even raise their voice anymore because they would be given a disciplinary... The kids hit the teacher's and all they get is a couple days exclusion from school. SO YES THEY WERE THE GOOD OLD DAY'S WE WERE TAUGHT BY RESPONSIBLE PARENTS AND TEACHERS who cared enough to teach us right from wrong...

That is amazing and so Bloody true. When I was a kid we made these And shot cans off fences climbed trees for apples made go carts out of scrap and raced down hill. And hell you had an argument with someone you slugged it out in the street and that was the end of it. We respected our Parents, Teachers, and Elders....And if you messed around in school it was the slipper or cane for your troubles and if your parents found out another sore back side.. But You Know What..........They Really Were The Good Old Day's And I miss them

Well I have been playing it since 10 min's after launch ranked 20 now and its Awsome, the graphics are great and have played it 10 hours straight with no crashes bugs or anything of notice..Yes its very fast paced and in some respect's the Pilot is the best way to rank up as the Titan's do not get you as much points and the best way to kill a Titan jump on its back and take your gun and blast the crap out of its power core. Over all I would recommend it as a game, its fast paced, at times frustrating but one hell of a ride as you get used to it. And once you complete the online campaigns you get access to all the Titans and then you have fun customizing them to suit your style. My fave weapon of choice for my Pilot is the smart pistol. If your like me and like to charge round like a lunatic its a great piece of kit it auto locks on target if you have 3 or 4 bad guys in your way it locks on them all and you pull the trigger bang their dead (unless your clip is empty lol) So from my point of view the graphics are great the game play is awesome so its a 9+ out of 10 for me.

30 years on death row and now found innocent
baldie replied to DEEJAYKEG's topic in General Discussion
Listen as long as there is human beings with emotions running our justice system's mistakes will be made.. And with regards our so called justice system here in the UK.........THERE IS NO JUSTICE. How can we let killers and child molesters out of prison after 6-8 years that's not justice, but rob a bank or steal the crown jewels and you will get 20+ years. We have the softest justice system in the world and most unbalanced. Yes I say bring back the death sentence here in the UK it is stupid how we treat our criminals, Tv's, radios, Gym equipment priority health care no waiting in NHS queue's 3 balanced meals a day plus snacks cigarettes phone calls home. Hard labour for everyone and you take a life and its proved beyond a doubt "Death sentence" We take better care of our Criminals than our Old people and servicemen and women. Things need to change here in the UK and get our priority's right. Yes its sad what happened to the gentleman in the US but at least they try to do the right thing with there criminals -
That's a great idea thanks for that I will keep an eye on it in the future

That's cool..yes I am lucky that Game nearly went completely bust and my local store was part of a trial that if you pay a yearly membership of £20 to the store you get exclusive deals it has saved me a lot of money over the last year like Battlefield 4 only cost me £19.99 with all the latest map packs and free dlc for the next map pack.
-
Problem is mate I have paid for it already my local game store was doing a deal by paying early I saved £14.99 they do this every time a new title comes out. But thank you for the offer it is much appreciated mate and I will keep you in mind for the next big release

Cheers X-Ray that's a new article from yesterday that I had not seen. I have been trying to keep up with all the latest info on this game before I get it tomorrow but there is loads and loads of articles out there lol. I was just worried about some people going over their download limits but if the Audio files are coming off the disc it should not be too bad. Still cant wait for tomorrow though
-
Just spotted this with regards the huge size of the download and suggest if you are getting the game to give this a read as it might make you fall foul of your ISP'S download limits. http://megagames.com/news/titanfall-pc-has-34gb-audio-files
