Ok if I have read all your posts right then you have tried 2 different power supplies........ SO did you use the same power lead ? try a different one then get a lamp or kettle and plug it into the wall socket to check it works. Once you have ruled that out do the same with your surge protector if you are using one again a lamp or kettle will do fine... that will prove you have actual power coming to the PSU. After that you need to check that power is leaving your PSU, a Simple voltage pen will test for this it just flashes or beeps (on some its both) if their is power. Now the other thing if there is power going to the motherboard....... There is no such thing as a universal colour code to the wires in a pc case so you need to double check that the correct wires from your power switch to the MB are in the right place. For this you need to double check the manual to your new MB then look at the wires from you power switch if you lucky they might be labelled ( you might need a torch and a magnifying glass to read them lol) Wires in the wrong place are one of the biggest fails when putting a new MB in your PC... it would be so much easier if their was an industry standard...

My Pc is in the living room, and the best way I get round it is have one earphone off and when she talks to me I at least know when to grunt or say yes dear in the right places. The only other thing she hate's is when I start chatting to loud on the mic...... But she is a good Mrs Baldie really, She brings me plenty of coffee when my Mug is empty so I cant complain

Well I have discovered there is one aspect of the game I can not cope with and it has turned me off the game slightly..... The f#####g Night time maps are so Dark I can not see a bloody thing even if I turn my brightness up full it just ruins the game for me

I Know what you mean mate round the corner from me a guy served for 15 years in the Parachute Regiment came home and tried to get a job so for 2 months he was just living on what he had got from the Army next thing because he had money in his account the job centre decided to stop his Benefits... so he and his wife struggled on until they fell behind with the rent, before you knew it they were evicted his wife and 2 sons had to go into a shelter but there was no room for him..... The government would not help him ...... But after it appeared in the Telegraph a local Business man from the Asian community stepped forward gave them a home rent free for a year and helped him find a job in the construction industry... When interviewed on the local news channel as to why he did this he replied "This man and his family have made this country safe for me and my family to live and work here to make my living why would I not help him and his" He then went on to slate our government and local council at the bad way we treat our ex service men and woman.. The guy owns at least 3 corner shops in the Coventry area but every year his shops make collections of toys and food for the local family's at Christmas. Now that is a man to be respected.. But we have Fat cat business leaders and politicians in this country that do not care one bit for the little people who I would note vote for any of them.... There is not one political party in this country who deserves my Vote they all talk the talk on the run up to an election but afterwards shit all over us while they line their own pockets

You could follow Hxtr idea then get a hdmi to cat 5 converter that way you can plug the hdmi into your stb or tv plug it into the power line and then in your bedroom just do the reverse. There is always a way if you think about it. Or just buy a tv sender that plugs into you set top box and then beams it to what ever tv you want it too and you then can change channel ect but you would be limited to watching the same program in both rooms
