  1. Yes, thank you for getting those maps together and making this game fun fun fun
  2. And, wow, no wonder I don't play BF2 anymore, it is not around! Geeze, I was so busy playing the newer stuff I never went back. ANYHOW, crossing fingers that this new Battlefield game will knock our socks off! Time for a new cool game imho.
  3. Coffee is good for you, the evidence says. That being said, aiming for more ORGANIC stuff is best, cause modern day chemicals/pesticides and whatever else companies are putting into foods could and do cause cancer. They say sooner or later all of us, depending on how long we live get cancer of some sort or another. My father in law had colon cancer. He was told he had 3 months. He happened to be a coffee addict (all he drank all day). He lived 5 years. I believe it was the coffee that kept him alive. NOW. I was reading that there is a new thing, and wohoo it is pot laced coffee pods... How cool is that!!! lol http://www.businessinsider.com/brewbudz-marijuana-coffee-pods-k-cups-2017-7
  4. Great info Jester, I hadn't even realized until you mentioned it that BF2 had no modded anything. I did play 1942 but by the time I got the game it was well an antique and I was off playing whatever new thing came out that took my fancy. ANYHOW, crossing fingers that BFV is great!
  5. Am I the only one excited about this game coming? Looks great to me, I am pre-ordering it and going to be playing the beta and all that. Yehaw As for system requirements, it is the same as the other current game, nothing new is needed so there is that. https://www.gamesradar.com/battlefield-5-confirmed-2018-news-multiplayer-gameplay/
  6. Very good advice! Cinnamon, ginger, GREEN TEA! Stay away from sugar and crappy foods - go for veggies and fruits and lots and lots of water! And breath deep breaths. I know this is going to sound crazy, but YOGA and that type of stuff really helps. Birds singing, clouds floating, even sweet sounding rain, those are great things. http://guide2chemo.com/ways-to-thrive-during-chemo And, apparently, coffee is good too (decaf to not affect your needed sleep.) 2 cents
  7. Yes, as one who has gone thru a hell of a chemo time, to be honest, I gave up gaming during that time, I was more interested in sleeping, light exercising, walking in nature, and looking everywhere for comedy. Never watched the Ellen show until chemo time, and found it funny every 3pm. Started watching all those silly funniest shows and sure enough I found myself laughing and forgetting all about my worries. Now about the whole pot thing, I have been doing all sorts of research and sure enough, pot has properties that indeed helps, not only with the crappy symptoms, but with healing the body and fighting against the enemy, who knew? I am even thinking about moving to a state like Colorado or such if my stupid thing comes back so I can freely treat myself. But back to you, chemo DOES WORK, and you WILL rally later and get back to your normal life and be HE HAWING as per usual. (Do research, eat well, move and exercise, keep active, stay away from germs! Ginger (pickled ginger for example at the Asian section of the grocery store) helps alot, getting lots of sleep is important too.) GOOD LUCK! And try not to worry
  8. me too, Microsoft imho sucks. That they make such problems, and the few on the top are the richest folks on earth disgusts me. Income disparity is the cause of most revolutions. Humans, so complicated and dangerous. Now off to shoot at ya'll. yehaw
  9. Ya'll sure are some sick bastards... huh? Oh, inside voice typing out loud? Shesh, one track mind, "so basic." lol ANYHOW, If I have another computer nearby I do stuff and get stuff done actually, if not, then if it looks like I am going to be frozen for awhile, I'll read a magazine, tidy up my office, talk to my loyal dog who is always by my side, or write more stuff I have to do on my to do list... Now about what Pred said "give intel" now THAT is the most productive thing to be doing for the other players and to maximize odds for winning the dag gone match... 2 cents Now as for Jeroen, no WONDER you burp so much, you beer drinker you lol.
  10. OH, and also this... Once you do copy the version 1.7 exe file, don't go back to Steam (until they finally catch on that they haven't yet updated their current file to 1.7 as it should be), otherwise Steam automatically installs version 1.6.
  11. Well, since I went all the way to Loch Ness, kids and hubby in tow, so I could spend time trying to find Nessie myself, AND I watch Ancient Aliens and seem to believe all the theories and ideas presented, I feel like I am a good candidate to analyze the photo. IMHO, the spray paint destroyed the evidence, sorry to say. NEXT time, take a photo of whatever it is unembellished, then a photo with say a ruler (or yardstick?), bag up and evidence like hair and/or poop eww, but don't paint over it. 2 cents Meanwhile, imho mysteries are what flame humans interest and get us off the cave/couch and exploring so yahoo, keep it up!
  12. What I did was cut my iw3mp.exe file out and put it on a USB for safe keeping just in case it didn't work as planned (as per life in general) and then downloaded the file from this thread, and bingo it worked I was off shooting and freezing yehaw. Thanks guys for the input and efforts to get us back in the maps.
  13. well, I played it and tried to like it, but nope it just isn't good enough for my gaming time. On to the next, but what is going to be the Next great game? Until I figure that out, it's back to BF4. (Ready for a NEW game. It has to be perfect though, I am tired of wasting money on junk games.)
  14. sorry guys, I think those of us with Steam (and downloaded the game instead of having a real disc) and COD4 are at this point screwed until at their end they upgrade the game BACK to version 1.7. Some slacky on their end did not know that there was a version 1.7 and only saw it up to version 1.6. What has to happen imho is a bunch of folks complaining to Steam about this and ask for them to PDQ fix it.
  15. Yes, it seems as though they found a glitch (which allowed hackers to get into the hosts computer) and fixed it, and then "forgot" to put COD4 back to version 1.7, so for those of us with Steam (who downloaded the game instead of purchasing it at a store) now currently it is set at version 1.6. I think it will take a bunch of us complaining (and hope that someone competent enough on the Steam end) to finally get this sorted. Meanwhile, no freeze-tag for us, sad to say... So, I am off to play other games...
  16. Since playing that COD4 map (Bastogne) with the loud music, I liked the guitar licks in it and wanted to see what the lyrics were and find out about the song and HOLY COW it is sad Cool song, but too loud in the game, but it is haunting and artfully beautiful too. Lyrics --> https://www.metallica.com/songs/25917/one video --> so sad. WAR SUCKS.
  17. I've been reading about this problem, and looks like when they did a fix (to prevent hackers from getting into the hosts computer), for COD4 they did not include it up to Version 1.7 . "Apparently" someone somewhere has been informed of the problem. Does that mean it will be resolved for us to be able to play COD4 multiplayer again? We shall see... meanwhile though, no one is making any money selling us new games, so there is that. (FOLLOW THE MONEY )
  18. Dag Nab it, I am having the same dag gone issues. Grrrrr Just when I wanna go and shoot at you guys too.
  19. it has been awhile (a year maybe) since I've played BF1, are folks still playing it? I played it so much I needed to change games. Are the new additions going well? In other words, should I fire up my game again and get back into WW1?
  20. As a footnote, imho, BF2 was the bestest game ever (2nd was MOH back in the day.) Does anyone still play BF2? Hmmm
  21. Always searching for the next really cool game I wanna play, there is a new Battlefield game coming out (rumors say late October, 2018) this year. Supposedly it is going to be based on World War 2. Battlefield 2018 will be following in the successful footsteps of Call Of Duty: WWII,according to a new report from VentureBeat. The publication says the tentatively-titled Battlefield V will take the series back to its historical roots steeped in the grit and grime of World War II.
  22. well, I have never seen any UFO's that I know of, but I have seen ghosts on the beach before...
  23. Ok so, I played this game as much as I could find the time for, and as per usual, I love it and am looking forward to playing it over the winter as much as I can (get away with and get work done too...) Yes, it is rather like cod 2, but better imho. It is not perfect so far, I think that there were alot of bots playing and so the few of us who were playing were surrounded by perfect bots who didn't miss, didn't have to take time to learn a map, etc. Once I figured that out, I did not feel so bad about my lousy aim and pitiful stats. One rude gamer actually said to me in game "Majbasil, you need to delete this game from your computer." Ouch. Nevertheless, I shall persist and fight on. Wohoo
  24. Very exciting, cannot wait ...
