Beat Saber is a virtual reality rhythm game developed and published by a Czech studio Beat Games. The game features the player slicing blocks representing musical beats with a pair of red and blue light sabers and takes place in a surrealistic neon noir environment. The game had been in early access for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Solstice, Windows Mixed Reality on Microsoft Windows PCs since May 2018,[1] and was fully released in May 2019. A first PlayStation VR version was released in November 2018. The game was also a launch title for the Oculus Quest, released in May 2019. The game includes several songs with up to five levels of difficulty. The player uses VR motion controllers to wield a pair of lightsabers, the left one colored red and the right one colored blue by default. In each song, the game presents the player with a stream of approaching blocks, laid out in sync with the song's beats and notes, located in one of the 12 possible positions of a 4x3 grid. Each block is colored red or blue, corresponding to the color of the saber that should be used to slash it, and may be marked with an arrow indicating one of eight possible directions in which the block may be required to be slashed through. There are also blocks with dots instead of arrows, which players may hit in any direction. When a block is slashed by a saber, it is destroyed and a score is awarded, based on the length and angles of the swing and the accuracy of the cut. In addition, there are occasionally mines that the player should not hit, and obstacles in the form of oncoming walls that the player's head should avoid. There is also a white bar underneath the path where the blocks travel, which slowly fills up as you hit notes correctly. If the player hits any note in the incorrect direction, the white 'health bar' will become less full by a small chunk. If the player completely misses a note, the bar will lose a large chunk. Thanks all, I am back and running around in the maps. Here is a tip for those of us who have version 1.7 in steam, and yet cannot find the XI servers cause for some weird reason all the sudden a file or more gets corrupted and the game comes up with errors and you have to completely uninstall then reinstall the game and start all over. When joining game, hit the tab button for the console. Type "connect (space) then the IP address, example. connect 162.248.95.178:28960 click enter then poof, you go to the XI server. The other server is the same but instead of ......178, put ......177 See ya in the maps

Ok so. ? Deleted my steam cod4, redownloaded all, and am doing ok, have maps, have some mods incl. freeze tag, have three different exe for multiplayer, one gets me to patch 1.7568, one gets me to patch 1.79 and the other to patch version 1.8. I am looking and looking and cannot find XI servers. What patch version do the XI freezetag servers run on? And, how do I get to it?

!!! HELP !!! ? OK so, I was playing yesterday, and now when I try to play multiplayer COD4, it says missing blinkw32.dll and missing mss32.dll files. ? I have tried everything I can think of, lately included deleting and then reinstalling the game, the patch from 1.8 back to 1.7 won't download for the same reason, missing files. Help me Obiwan Kanobi (ya'll) you are my only hope... Otherwise, I am off into other gaming worlds and maps and would miss you all. ?

Checked my setting, this darn game is taking FOREVER To load, granted I do live in Tennessee with no FIOS... Anyone else having this issue? I still haven't been able to play this game yet and here it is Sat. afternoon. Shesh. "Dumb old/new game" ?

OK. I currently suck at it, but like it. As the weapons get better, as we learn the maps and get used to the faster pace, it'll get easier imho. So I discovered the tanks (and helis and little atv's) and yehaw this is beginning to remind me of how I felt about Battlefield 2. I like how there is a gameplay where you can revive folks, so there is that medic/helping people aspect that I like. The maps so far are well thought out with lots of nooks and crannies to hide in and places to snipe from. I am in, I play as basil, but my real "id" is basil#12307. Two thumbs up.
