I would say 1 trip a team. I believe this is how our old server was set and a few tourneys were played. (Don't cringe Loader) At least a 3 second re-spawn time. The immediate re-spawn really hurt the flow of the game play the last time we played ctf.

Just about every major update I've seen so far with win10 seems to jack up my sound card speaker/mic settings. I have to go through and change the default devices or reinstall the driver. I prefer win7 anytime compared to this os.

I never hated on a console just laid out the weaknesses. 1. Most of my friends don't play them. 2. I do own some consoles mostly for my kids though. There are some games only to the console I like. Some companies doesn't want to port to a pc because the investment may not be worth it with the bigger market share on the console side. It also pushes that market into buying their console for certain games. Sometimes a company will a pc port at a later date to grab what profits they can from that market as well. 3. Why would I want to spend money on inferior hardware except for maybe point #2 4. I played various consoles since the Atari 2600. So I am not in the too small minded to try something else category 5. The people who would prefer a fps on a console probably haven't played a pc version of the same game or may fall into #4. If they are into inferior controls, netcode and graphic performance they can stick with their 5 year old hardware in their console. 6. If it isn't coded to take advantage of the pc hardware than its going to look generic somewhat. Give me some examples. Their probably isn't much out there. I enjoy both but I know what I prefer.

Looks like you got a few name to play with at least. The crowd here is primarily pc. I have some consoles for my kids mainly. Some games are ok on a console but for a fps game they are a joke. I don't get the appeal why someone would want to play on old inferior hardware,terrible controls etc, With some of the services requiring additional money on top of that. Also a os that is cute but really limited to what you can do with it.

An old post but I figured I would throw in my experience with the product. I have used sling and directTV now. Sling I have used for a few years now. I like to multiple streams of the directtv now but I believe the sling ap is much more solid. The directtv now app on the apple tv seems to crash more often than I would like. I have not tried it on the amazon box yet. The roku boxes have been pretty solid I have used them for years as well. Since the directtv app was yanked from the rokus I only had a limited experience with that setup. Sling also seems to be a little more ala carte for your choices as well. It is also around 20$ for the most basic package. That and a decent antenna which I get around 40 channels off of. Only a few channels are worth watching though in my area.

The 144hz you will notice a difference on a fps. If its Diablo or something and you can live with the 60hz

Probably my favorite game type with FT being a close 2nd. I happily look forward to some ctf. The game takes teamwork and quick thinking. Deathmatch is fun but I get a little burnt on watching bottom feeders sitting on spawn spots. Hopefully it will carry to some different days. Possibly some of the Saturday tdm crowd will migrate over. Usually the only time I get to play this if Loader throws one in as we are playing or around the annual memorial gaming sessions. I beat on people like a drum and then have to wait until the next year. :0

A little tech 101. A data stream for any online game is very small. Nothing near that bandwidth. So you could play many cod sessions on that bandwidth. Now try to run a few game sessions and something else (such as some streaming video) at the same time yes everything will go to hell with the ping. A lot of other factors go into the ping as well from point A to point B
