  1. Rugger, Thanks for holding this ship together. I know there is a ton of time involved by you and the admins behind the scenes. Things your average player will never see or think about. That time makes the servers fantastic. Also thank your spouses for putting up with our gaming addictions. Thanks for always taking input on what the players want. It is very appreciated. I've been in the clan since 2009 and on the servers since 2008. I started playing cod2 in the wee hours with my co-workers when I worked "very little" on 3rd shift. I would run into the breakfast club in the mornings. The cod2 ctf games were fantastic for a long run. I've played with and met many great people from here. I've made a few friends for sure. It is not anywhere close to an average clan. There are many special idiots here.
  2. I have never been there. I was just outside of there a few years ago. From what I hear the Canadian side is nicer. What penitentiary would we go to visit you at?
  3. If your just referring to movement you really don't gain much speed strafe jumping. Nothing gained in server 1. Very little in the mw beta. News flash the hit box is still the same to shoot someone! For people who are very aggressive jumping around a corner is very useful to shoot some squatting douche sitting in a corner or around a crate or something. If you disable jumping you slow the game down for a variety of reasons. If you want to see a slow example go to the esc server. It draws your gun when you jump. Which is fine and dandy except when you walk over a rock or crest a hill and it assumes your jumping and raises your gun as you get your ass shot off. If you want to see strafe jumping used to gain real speed play Quake Live. From the sounds of your post you would shrivel up, quit and play solitaire if you tried it. For anyone talking realism, you look like a cartoon character, can jump off multistory buildings, land into a dead sprint without breaking a sweat. Please go play something else for those wanting accurate realism.

  23. I used to play it for years. My roots where in Doom then in 97 Quake came out. Quake was awesome. Quake 2 I wasn't as fond of but it did produce the rail gun. Quake 3 was like crack. It was my favorite by far of all of them. The netcode is the same used in cod4 which is part of why that game is so awesome. I still play Quakelive now and then to keep my aim and reflexes sharp. I wouldn't mod it up Rugger part of the beauty of the game is its simplicity. The speed and the brutality of it is just awesome. When it comes to dueling no game is more intense. I also ran a server for years I still have some configs and batch files to run it easily. OSP was the best tourney mod back then. If anyone is ever interested PM me and I'll shoot you my Quakelive name. Warning for all of the vaginas who sit and squat in COD this game is not for you...
