I too have been really busy with my other obsession and will be that way until it is back on the road..........Too much power is soooo much fun but it finds all the weak spots in a hurry. Had to get the transmission rebuilt and strengthened.... it should hold up now......

I played 4 maps last night and it is nice. I like the 4 nades for the launcher and I have enough time to get myself situated on the map when it is a new one.. Thanks Rugger.

If you are going to limit the nades to two then you should limit all the other weapon loads to 7 shot clips before reload. It seems with the camper counter it is just senseless running around and with me not even knowing the maps I can't sit and figure out where I am without the camper counter starting. Then if you are inside a building looking out the window someone is yelling and calling you a camper.........sheesh. You guys need to come on Cod2 DM for a spanking you will never forget. II think it is worse when a spawn pops up in front of you in a dead run and kills you with you knowing where they came from.

I played in Ace Mod for the first time in a over a year since I finally found and reloaded my game disc. I figured out the grenade launcher and I love that weapon. It's a lot of fun!! Just ask Joe Canadian.... I don't know the maps well enough to know a spawn point from a camping spot but I fire as soon as I see someone....if you just spawned there....well.... you are dead. I hope to get some more time in that server but I have no problem with it the way it is right now. Once I learn the maps and spawn points though....I hope to tube and Knife Joe as much as possible.........

I have been where I always am. I'm pretty simple........Eat, Work, Game, Sleep and mess with my Buggy.......Sometimes the buggy takes a little more time than it should........since it is an obsession my Wife says.....

Cleaned 6 months of building dust and grime off of it. It still isn't much of a looker.......but it sure will put out..... :wink: The business end.......1679 cc's of Megasquirt Fuel Injected, turbocharged goodness.....it even has Alcohol/Water Injection hiding in there somewhere. No one knows what lurks beneath........not much to see for wiring, It's all hidden quite well. The cockpit with all the comforts of home...... It's just an absolute blast to drive even though it is not completely tuned yet. It winds the speedo up to 90 in nothing flat.......

I can't understand why something like this would be a problem......There are maybe four to five new players on COD2 that showed up in the last couple months of which two were perm banned. All of us have been playing each other for the last 2 to 6 years now. I know exactly where each and every player will be because each player has a style and a favorite place or even a favorite map. Sometimes you just have to play in a different part of the playground if you don't like the big swingset.......If it scares you just go the the preschool side...... Seriously....If someones style bothers you after this much time you need to take a break. I personally love playing with almost each and every regular player here and I will exploit their style to my favor. If that means a nade or a good bash to the head...so be it. We have all been together for a long time and sure sometimes a trip is close to a spawn.... Was it intentional???? They might have spawned nearby and ran over to protect their backs and not known it was next to a different spawn. Not everyone knows each and every spawn point. Depending on how many players there are i seems some spawn points are not used at all times. I have noticed new spawn points in maps I have played for a long time if the map is really busy. There is also the revenge spawn... if you are too slow to shoot the killer it will seem like someone is spawn killing or camping. I am on a full run as soon as I spawn and don't try to leave myself open, but if I spawn facing the wrong way I could be killed before I move. I can pretty well guarantee that I will hate this stupid 5 second invisible spawn protection. That will be a couple kills I'll loose due to that. I happen to die a lot so if I have 40 deaths that means I will have 200 seconds of useless playing time in the game.... I think that will suck worse than getting spawn killed a couple times in a game. Carry on.

We actually had dinner the night before and my three kids were there for the first time in quite some time..... it was wonderful. I had a long week at work shoveling my poor old ass off and was so tired I was falling asleep at 8:30 at night......sheesh it sucks getting old. Again, thanks everyone I really appreciate it. I guess not everyone hates me after all......

Is your in game mic volume turned up all the way? Put the Windows mic volume to 100% and the game Mic volume to 100% and see if that works.

Heck Old Man......when we were young it was cars and motorcycles!!! No one can afford those anymore so Video games replaced them. At least with cars the girls could ride in them.....
