the 5750 will be enough to run the actual games on low maybe even some medium settings... 
  
like Merlin said have a look at the dimensions of the old psu and go for a 500 watts 
that will be enough.... 
  
and disable the onboard after that not to cause trouble 
  
Just to be sure I understand.... I *should* disable the on-board card if I put the new card in?   
  
My brother said the same thing, but the guy at Geek Squad (when we tried to recover my old system image) said that disabling on-board cards will mess up my "driver hierarchy" (or something along those lines) and bug out the OS - and that I should let them run in parallel.  The Geek Squad guy seemd to know what he was talking about, but I dunno. 
  
Sorry to be Mr. 50 questions.... but I am NOT a techie and all I want to do is play games without having to get a degree in computer science or pay someone $150 to plug in a card & load a driver or two.

I would disable the onboard after the sys is up and running with the new card...drivers installed and everything is working...
