  2. Justa word on the suppressors I have mentioned in previous posts. They are not a cure all for sound, you still have to use the right ammunition for the gun. If you use the wrong set-up the bullet might still break the speed of sound and you will get the crack as it does. (About 1,120 FPS) If interested the below video explains a lot.
  3. You have been assimilated.
  4. Head down toTexas BMD, HXTR probably has one in his backyard. You see some amazing grills heading down the road in TX going to one cookoff or another.
  5. Damn, very sorry to hear of your misfortune. Going under the knife is never good and considering the luck you have had it's much worse. Rehab alone can be a bitch. All that aside try not to give up and I firmly believe a good attitude will help with the rehab. Wishing you all the best and hoping they get it right this time so we never have to see a post like the one above again. From the business / union side with workmens comp ypu sometimes have to first use the doctors specified by the company until they fail to perform adequately. I hope you got the best surgeon you can find working that knife. Some people may not understand or know that you can screw up a workmens comp claim by going to your own doctors for care without prior proper approvals.
  6. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/story/2012/05/04/mb-canada-last-penny-mint.html WIsh we would do the same along with no mail delivery on Saturdays. Both moves would be effective cost savers.
  7. A colonoscopy is much more than fingers but even much less discomforting. Simple procedure, no discomfort at all.
  8. Amazing how many men try to avoid a simple procedure that could save their lives. Cut the drama and if over 40 get it done.
  9. Just bought another pistol, this time a used S&W K 22 considered by many to be a classic revolver. Price was $466.00, well below market value. It is in excellent condition showing hardly any wear. No box which detracts from value. Barrel is pinned and cylinder recessed. Serial number preceded by a "K" which I believe adds value. I did not buy as an investment but as a shooter. I believe this is in the Masterpiece series but am not sure. Will know more when I get a book I recently ordered on S&W guns.
  10. Guilty..............feed him to pigs. . . . . .
  11. Toys are good! Check out Primary Arms for sights. My son and I have a few undertheir brand name and have not been dissappointed. http://www.primaryar..._Store_s/57.htm Might save you a buck or two.
  12. The quote of the day comes from David Burge at the Iowa Hawk Blog: "Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack Obama does with mine."
  13. I'll be more than happy to help ya out. Have you used the apple software update to make sure all of your iTunes versions are up to date? Yes, everything is updated and have multiple done reinstalls. The one I am typing on had an update yesterday I think. Hxtr said you were the expert so yes, I would like some help at a time convenient to both. I have sent Help questions to Apple but get a lot of links that either do not help or just frustrate me. Very hard to get a live body, at least for me it has been. Did not see any phone number contacts. This laptop has never had iTunes, Pocono PC had once had it and then was deleted. WHen reinstalled some of then old songs were still there but could not access store not is username and password recognized. One odd thing I noticed was on my home PC, a fresh install, I also got Safari. On the other 2 PC's Safari was not installed. Not that I want Safari but just a comment on the difference of the installs.
  14. I can only access my iTunes account on one PC. Tried home sharing, tried authorized PC, tried user name and password nothing lets me use my other PC's. On other PC's iTunes does not recognize my user name and password.
  15. Then may I suggest that you do absolutely nothing to ever piss her off.
  16. Have to admit some gruesomes videos. When legs move like string you are in trouble.
  17. Just to show I am not totally biased for American sports I do give Rugby players complete credit and respect. They are some rugged bad ass dudes. There are no sissies in Rugby. Just the All Blacks doing the Hakka would scare me. As rough as Rugby is I hardly ever see the injury drama that is so prevelant in soccer. Now if I only understood the rules.
  18. 3-0, not very exciting to my American tastes. Probably why soccer may never make it in the states. Here it is run by soccer Mom's with Fathers somewhere off on the periphery of the sport. Until both parents buy into the game it will be hard to generate the interest in our youger generation. WIth American Football, baseball, basketball and even ice hockey there is usually some parental interest in the sort that is passed down to the kids. Soccer just does not have that. Although soccer could be a good stage for an acting carreer, never seen anyone roll around acting in pain like soccer players. They have that part down to a science. Can you guess? I don't like soccer. And no, I am not going to call it "football" even if appropriate.
  19. Your driving environment needs to be ideally suited to an electric vehicle for any hope of saving money. Example, heavy traffic, lots of stops and starts.
  20. I did suspect you had a little Valley Girl in you.

  22. I will be damned if I do not get pissed when I can't go back and edit one of my posts for a typo. As in the above post where I have "whel" when I meant "when". I know, I know............ be more careful. I still don't have to like it. We old people need a break for our loss of mental acumen. At least this one does.
  23. We Americans can often get a chuckle from the Brits and Irish whel we refer to Petrol as Gas which has a generally distinct difference in Europe.
  24. Just ordered the below "toy". http://www.gofoxpro....t_firestorm.php Last night my son had a bear in the backyard. We also have an assortment of other visitors like Fox, Raccoon, Coyote, Turkey, Etc. I just want to try calling them for recreation, I am not into "hunting" them except maybe with a camera. Never tried calling for bear or deer. Have done it for Fox, Turkey and Crows many years ago with some success. Crows especially easy. Not unusual to get a whole flock buzzing around you. Couple of Non-Called pictures of backyard.
