  1. UnChileno I had the same problem too...My nephew got into mine and fill it up with porn.....Great sites though...Lmao.. Sure Chile Probably no different than when you drop a stinky fart in company and try to blame your wife.
  2. So, how many of you have had your kids terrorize your PC? I had been in the hospital from Friday to Sunday because of a rapid heart rate....150.......had to get it shocked back to normal. Anyway I come home and all my AOL e-mail folders are empty with the exception of of couple of new ones. I had no idea what happened. Long story short one of my Grandsons while visiting with my wife decided to do me a favor a clean my e-mail folders for me. Apparently he saw his Mom do something similar. Anyway they are all emptied. All my business e-mail, all my e-mail on purchases and stuff..............All GONE! Then the little culprit, 7 years old, visits yesterday evening after my return from the hospital and tells me he "helped me clean my computer". Aarrrrghhh! I stayed calm and tried to explain it's best to just let the computer owner do those things. My daughter was shocked and said how he had been watching her clean junk form her e-mails at home. Apparently he though deleting anything was good. He learned well enough to check "Delete All" and hit Enter. His intentions were good but the results do present a few problems for me especially with my business correspondence and some guns I bought with my C & R license. Almost put me back in the hospital. No more allowing the PC to remember passwords will help also.
  3. I second the Malware Bytes, has helped me in the past. http://shop.malwarebytes.org/lpa/342/3/7268/index_b.html?_kk=malwarebytes%20download&_kt=2d4c88d3-7530-44c1-b267-0fa83442a3d0&gclid=CNPhoofE46YCFRVx5QodxG3Q2g
  4. If you are a Borg maybe you can hook me up with Seven of Nine?
  5. Arrgh...did not see this subject before posting a different thread, anyway get well and get in game while you are handicapped.
  6. Being from PA I would like to and probably will root for the Steelers. Too damn bad both PA teams, Eagles and Steelers, have criminals running their offenses. Neither one should even be in the league right now. Amazing how being good in sports forgives a multitude of sins.
  7. Damn Pipers, all full of hot air.
  8. While I do not know how XI handles these things internally you need to remember many of the settings with regard to the weapons are server side settings and have nothing to do with your personal settings. If Admins have decided to make some changes. often to balance out game play, it can effect your score or the perception that you are not playing as well as before. Damage inflicted by each weapon can be increased or decreased with server side settings. If changes were made you will probably notice a difference if you are a frequent player. I would ask the server head admin if any changes had been made.
  9. The latest all is okay. COD 2 and 4 were related to my sound settings, all I had to do was unplug and replug my headset and let the system find it again. Somehow it was not found on start up.
  10. WAW is now working. COD 2 & 4 are giving me the same message as before: With COD 4 I get the message: i w3MP.exe has stopped working. With COD 2 I get the message cod2mp_s.exe has stopped working Maybe they will also heal themselves.
  11. I have tried with all my firewall stuff closed........Spyware Doctor and Windows Defender, still no go. May try a PB update later. Thanks though Maz, misery loves company.
  12. When staring to load COD WAW I get to where it says Downloading Acct Data. It sits there awhile and then I get "Cannot Connect to Online Server" With COD 4 I get the message: i w3MP.exe has stopped working. With COD 2 I get the message cod2mp_s.exe has stopped working WTF????? Can't load any of the 3. I did do a Microsoft Defender update first and have since done a System Restore. No luck. This PC has not even been used the last few days, it has been powered off while I was away. Any ideas or does it look like I am reinstalling and starting over?
  13. Enjoy the rehab.......... Does working a mouse or keyboard qualify as rehab??????
  14. I have noticed that many times posted links do not work in XI forums. I also know that with Firefox I need to do some mumbo jumbo in order to cut and paste. Which I do not do becaue I do not understand the crap I would need to do. Anyway what I do is copy the link and post it in XI forums by using the CTRL V (Paste) command. then I also hit return to go to the next line before submitting. Going to the next line seems to help set the link. Maybe it's only me who has to go through these contortions to cut and paste but I just thought it might be worth mentioning because numerous times I have seen links not working as links should. Suffice to say it works for me.
  15. A United States Marine was taking some college courses betweenassignments. He had completed 20 missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of thecourses had a professor who was anavowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU. One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. Helooked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD,if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform... I'll give youexactly 15 min." The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop.Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting." It got down to thelast couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to theprofessor, and cold-cocked him; knockinghim off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on insilence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at theMarine and asked, "What in theworld is the matter with you? Why didyou do that?" The Marine calmly replied, "GOD was toobusy today protecting America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to saystupid stuff and act likean idiot. So He sent me." Can I hear Amen!

  19. If at all possible do take the Glen Canyon raft trip. A wonderful experience, not white water but exceptionally scenic. http://raftthecanyon.clickforward.com/?adid-2E343B92-B097-442c-BFA5-BE371E0325A2=388067&kw-2E343B92-B097-442c-BFA5-BE371E0325A2=glen+canyon+rafting
  20. For those of you State Side peeps who may be interested in buying or collecting older war vintage guns you might consider getting a Curio and Relic license ( C&R License). With the license you can buy many guns 50 yrs older and older with no problems. You can buy direct from a licensed seller via the Internet or gun shows. The license is not hard to get nor is it expensive. This link provides a good read: http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting2005/howtogetyourcurionrelicffl03/index.asp Good sites for looking for C&R eligible guns are: http://www.gunbroker.com/ and http://www.auctionarms.com/ M-1 Garands, 1903 Springfields, KAR 98's Mosin Nagants, 1917 Enfields, .30 Cal Carbines, SKS, Arisaka's and many pistols are all C&R eligible. If you ever think of collecting do yourself a favor and get the license. Sorry, Brits and Canadians need not apply
  21. Sometimes you never know how good you have it until it is gone.
  22. SOB can hardly walk and talk at the same time but he can PERFORM! Makes a great guest on Howard Stern.
  23. From my Daughter............... and so true. 1) When Iwas a kid we didn't have the Internet. If we wanted to know something, wehad to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card catalog!! 2) There was no email!! We had to actually write somebody a letter - witha pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the streetand put it in the mailbox, and it would take like a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents! 3) Child Protective Services didn't care if our parents beat us. As amatter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission to kick ourass! Nowhere was safe! 4) There were no MP3's or Napsters or iTunes! If you wanted to stealmusic, you had to hitchhike to the record store and shoplift it yourself! 5) Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio, and the DJ wouldusually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up! There were no CDplayers! We had tape decks in our car. We'd play our favorite tapeand "eject" it when finished, and then the tape would come undonerendering it useless. Cause, hey, that's how we rolled, Baby! Dig? 6) We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phoneand somebody else called, they got a busy signal, that's it! 7) There weren't any freakin' cell phones either. If you left the house, youjust didn't make a damn call or receive one. You actually had to be out oftouch with your "friends". OH MYGOSH !!! Think of the horror...not being in touch with someone 24/7!!! And then there's TEXTING. Yeah, right. Please! You kids have no idea how annoying you are. And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either! When the phone rang, you had noidea who it was! It could be your school, your parents, your boss, yourbookie, your drug dealer, the collection agent... you just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister! 9) We didn't have any fancy PlayStation or Xbox video games withhigh-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like 'Space Invaders' and 'Asteroids'. Your screen guy was alittle square! You actually had to use your imagination!!! Andthere were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen.. Forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder andfaster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE! 10) You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! Youwere screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your assand walk over to the TV to change the channel!!! NO REMOTES!!! Oh,no, what's the world coming to?!?! 11) There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons onSaturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying? We had to wait ALL WEEKfor cartoons, you spoiledlittle rat-bastards! 12) And we didn't have microwaves. If we wanted to heat something up, wehad to use the stove! Imagine that! 13) And our parents toldus to stay outside and play... all day long. Oh, no, no electronics tosoothe and comfort. And if you came back inside... you were doing chores! 14) And car seats - oh,please! Mom threw you in the back seat and you hung on. If you werelucky, you got the "safety arm" across the chest at the last momentif she had to stop suddenly, and if your head hit the dashboard, well that wasyour fault for calling "shot gun" in the first place!
  24. From the Shot Show in Vegas, a new shotgun from Kel-Tec: http://www.keltecweapons.com/news/preview-kel-tec-shotgun-ksg I want one............LOL. I have no idea why.....
  25. Something anyone should try if the ping issues are constant is to reboot the router. Unplug it for 15 Sec or so and power it back up. This SOMETIMES helps. Also very often, but not always, you can shut down your router or modem overnight and turn it back on in the morning, you may find you have a new IP which can also help on occasion. I beleive receiving a new IP can alter the route that your PC takes to the server. There is also a way to check the hops you make to the server and can spot a problem area. Someone more PC literate than me might be able to explain about "hops". This may help explain: http://www.wikihow.com/Test-Network-and-Internet-Latency-%28Lag%29-in-Microsoft-Windows I use http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ to check download speed and also to see my IP. For example my speed results to Chicago from Philly: Last Result: Download Speed: 25094 kbps (3136.8 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 3416 kbps (427 KB/sec transfer rate)
