I've been with my wife since 1973. I was 16 and she was 14 yrs old. I'd have to say that we are "soul mates" in that we are mentally and "spiritually" joined at the hip after 37 years. Sorry to hear about your breakup Dean. Twenty eight yrs is a very long time but if you were making each other miserable, I guess the "soul-mate" thing went by the wayside a while ago. I've had my share of ups and downs with my wife and some downs have lasted a few years! Sometimes I wonder how we've managed to stay together since we were kids. She and I are virtually different people now.

Those modes look like a lot of potential fun but they need a just plain old-fashioned standard balls-out deathmatch fuckin' free-for-all option to keep my interest in the game.

MOHAA was the last decent MP game from that series and that was 8 years ago on the Quake 3 Arena engine. The MOH track record since then hasn't exactly been stellar. I'm hoping for good things with Black Ops.

Wow! Very impressive. I used to be a Star Trek freak (Star Trek from the 1960's of course!!)

I ran a box of 9mm through the Luger a couple of years ago Hagar. It is quite accurate but surprisingly LOUD and has a good bit of muzzle flip. Completely different experience compared to my 9mm Beretta. It has 2 dates stamped on it. 1918 is the original date, then 1920 below it. It was apparently confiscated after WW1 under the Treaty Of Versailles, then re-issued in 1920 to the German police. I have the original police holster that it was re-issued with. The holster might be worth more than the gun because the gun has been re-blued according to the gunsmith I showed it to (probably before re-issue in 1920).

Got to give her a lot of credit for creativity and originality if nothing else.

Death-to-kill ratios impress me the most if you are talking about balls-out deathmatch type of game play, but overall the best players to me are the one's that seem to have a great time just playing the game and laughing with a bunch of idiots regardless of their score at the end. I wish that I could relax more and simply enjoy the experience w/o always being so fixated on the next kill and my end of game placement.

I'm afraid to even THINK that anything positive will happen with this game after the unbelievably dissapointing cluster fuck we all experienced last year. Time will tell. Looks like it has a lot of potential though.

Unfortunately I missed the controversial post that all of you are referring to. I would like to say though that HooTs is one of the few people out there that I would defend "sight unseen" and I would stake my reputation on her integrity. I'm really glad that this was cleared up quickly and the low-life scumbucket perp was discovered.

I'm hopeful but VERY skeptical. Time will tell I suppose.
