I live in North East Ohio. The clan servers are in Chicago (I think...). When I first started playing on the wonderful XI servers back in 2007, I had a ping of 80. Not great, but more than playable. Fast forward 3 years, and I'm sitting with a ping of over 100, and getting my ass kicked because of it. I walk around a corner BAM headshot. Then I see the other guy come running around the corner. I have to aim a good 5 feet in front of everyone just to get one hit, and god help me if I'm carrying a weapon that takes more than one hit to kill. It's pissing me off to no end. And I know it's my ISP because I go down to my buddy's house and get a ping of 30. GOD I hate DSL!!!!!

If you have two computers connected to one network which connects to the internet, then xFire will only see your external IP address. As far as xFire is concerned, there is only one computer at that IP. Your router keeps tracks of which requests come from which computer. It's likely that you got hijacked.

As the proud owner of the GTX 460, I can say these cards SCREAM. They are the new 8800GT. Phenominal performance for the price, plus, they overclock like crazy.

My 8800GT's are still going strong after 2+ years of a hard overclock and lost of abuse. So, you can either choose crappy drives (ATI), or hardware that fails after 2 years. hmmm.....Personally, I'd rather replace my hardware every 2 years than deal with crappy drivers every day.

From what I understand, servers will be hosted ONLY by www.gameservers.com. So as far as us hosting our own servers, not going to happen.

Should have taken pics when I split my head open. Well, both times I split my head open. First time was on a cement block underneath a swing set. 14 stitches, lots of blood, and lots of crying later (I was 5 at the time), I was back in 1 piece. Second time I ignored those signs at the swimming pool that says "No running". The back of my head met the side of the pool. Again, lots of blood and crying.
