I will try to set it back to the old driver. The NVIDIA control panel even changed to some 3D crap and that is all. Thanks guys. I think I changed it with the old NVIDIA drivers installed. I don't want to do a system restore because that would get rid of too much other stuff. If it wasn't for that I would. Anybody want to crossloop?

When I installed COD5 on my new computer it didn't automatically put icons on my desktop or in my program list. I have to put the disk in and play from the disk. I didn't have to do that before. Anybody have any suggestions. All of the other COD's did fine. I tried to reinstall it but I didn't want to lose any maps or anything. It wants me to uninstall and try reinstalling it, how do you do that without losing maps. I am a dumb ass this month. Too many other distractions. There is something about the bnk32 file not located or something, also. Anybody up for a Crossloop and fix my ass. I will let you see my man boobs. lmao. No that would scare you away

The left alt enter, only works when I am not in game. It works any other time but when I am in game. There is something in the setup where you can move your screen up down, right or left. But I can't find it now. It's aggravating when I can't remember shit. Need more drugs or something. lol

I did a NVIDIA upgrade, update whatever you call it. And now my screen is cut off on top and there is a black space on the bottom of the screen, but this only happens in games, not on a normal screen. Does anybody have any ideas. My resolution before was 1440 x 900 and now it is 1024 x 768. Even as low as 800 x 600 it is cut off. I did a screen centering thing a couple of months ago, but I forgot how I did it.

I just wanted to say Hello again to all of you fine examples of XI people, my family and friends. I finally gotmy shit together and am back again. I went through 3 computers in 3 weeks. I finally got one good one going and I am going to tweek it some more. One should be back next week, after sending it to TX twice. Fucking HP people. It started out the HD crashed then they sent me a bad one, then I sent them the computer and it come back with fucked up memory slots. It is in shipment back to me now. But in the mean time I used my old one and the power supply went and so did the video card. I am giving that one to my daughter. I broke into my coin collection and bought a brand new one. So next week I should have 2 good computers, one for my grandson and one for me, just like it used to be but only better. The tragic part of all of this is that my wife of 33 years had a stroke. That just about did me in. She already has lung cancer and had her first radiation treatment on last Monday and then Tuesday she is in the hospital with a stroke. She is home now and doing much better. It is hard to tell that she has had one. But it really wakes you up. Your mind will have all kinds of games it will play on you. The Dr came into her room Wednesday and said oh by the way you have brain cancer. We about shit ourselves, we both just started crying. Pretty much a death sentence if someone tells you that. We were devastated. And then my wife's Oncologist talked to us and said that she looked at all of the catscans and MRI's and said it was old reminants of a infection my wife had behind her ear a few months ago. And no brain cancer. We were fucking relived as hell. I wanted to hang that first bitch of a Dr. They shouldn't be able to tell people that shit, unless they are 100% sure. My wife is doing fine now, well as good as can be expected. She will pull through her lung cancer. It is in one spot and she has to have radiation treatments for 35 days. Five days a week for 7 weeks. I think that she will pull through, you got to have a positive attitude. So I am trying to get my head on straight. And I miss everything here at XI and all of my friends. So I can finally be myself again, maybe, my Dr. fucked up and doubled my pain meds. Damn, I will be slower than before now. So maybe somebody can rack some kill streaks. It is just good to be back. Thank you Funstick for your support. You helped me a lot. I hope that I can repay you some how. I was looking at the XI pics roll by and we are such a diverse bunch of people. All makes and models. That is what makes us who we are. And that is this great place we call XI. Sorry it was so long, I get that way on these pain meds. Makes you talk forever about nothing. Love you people. Thank you for being here.

Wow BigDean I thought you were going to say the Lord. I am glad that you had a Dad that would actually be a Dad to you, that is awesome. That is how life should of been. After my parents divorced here in Washington, my Mother married a man from SW Oregon, we moved down there just before I turned 11. I was torn away from all of my family, including my oldest brother and sister. After that I rarely seen any family. This was in 1969. The life was rough and the work was even rougher. At the time I simply just hated it. I thought it was way too much for a kid to have to do. But later I figured it all out. I got married in 1978, I had an instant family my wife had already had two kids, and we had one together a month after we got married. That is a long story. I adopted the two kids and treated them as my own, much like my stepfather had done. He raised several kids that weren't his own blood. But to see this man that whom literally worked himself to death, but loved children. I felt totally blessed to have this man as my stepfather. But he died before I could tell him that. My kids barely got to know him. After I adopted my kids, I moved back up to Washington, just to let things cool down and to get the kids away from that area for awhile. We moved back two years later and the same night we moved back my stepfather passed away. I happened to go by his house the next morning and he had died in his sleep. But every where I go I still feel his presence and everything that he had taught me. Every place that we have lived, he has lived not to far away. I have been in my present house here for 19 years and he used to live a 1/4 mile away. The mill that I worked at for 7 1/2 years, well he was buried on a hill that over looked it. I even had a roof job that I did here in Washington and it was on his old place, the apple orchard and the old house were still there. The most important thing that he told me was. "The most important thing in a man's life is to work hard and take care of his family". Well his meaning of working hard was pretty extreme and I tried to uphold that. And I went too far. I worked hard for over 35 years and over 25 years I worked 60 - 80 hours per week. And now I am on SSI after having physical and other issues. The Dr.'s said I just wore my body out. Pneumonia 14 times didn't help. So now I am just scrapeing by and selling my shit to live. But I can at least say that I did my part in taking care of my family. And be proud of that fact. Maybe not me, but they matter more than me. But on the other hand it doesn't do any good if I ain't there. So take care of your families and yourself.

Try 'settings' when the game first opens up. Before you go into the game. Or hit esc and go to options that way after you are in game.

I first seen Jeff Dunham with Peanut on Johnny Carson. That was a good 20 years ago. It was good to see that he made a great career out of his talents. One of the best that ever lived. I have just about everything Jeff Dunham has ever did on DVD and CD's Thanks Google, I still have his christmas cd in my cd player in my office.

I will be playing more COD5 Chile, Just trying to get my new computer figured out. I tried to play COD4 and my patches weren't installed but when I installed them it said they were so WTF. I did get COD5 to work finally. Nobody is ever on BO. So I am going to jump around and play what I can. I updated my video card and that screwed up some shit, so I am having a wondeful time. Damn computer shut down twice today. Just powered off, it didn't even say goodbye or nothing, the fuckiong prick. lol I will find you somewhere Mofo.

Thanks to all of you. I probably won'y get the money back, but I will try. I haven't had any other trouble with Paypal. I was wondering if I got rid of that damn thing. Nothing seems to be having any problems now. That would be a bitch to have reformat the hard drive. I do have Microsoft Recovery Discs for this machine. Hopefully it works out. I am usually pretty cautious about everything. But this one time, I went on line without my security (condom) and I got bit. Thanks for the input. It has happened before but that was a long time ago and security wasn't as good as it is today. Paypal sucks donkey balls. I may just go to a local tech and ask them for advice. Or get the letter. It is only $60, but it is the fact that I got burnt, that is what gets me. Paypal should have known, it was an overseas account. The account that got paid was: ULTIMDEFENDER.COM, BAKU, AJ. Whereever the hell that is. That should be a dead give away right there. And you can't dispute anything until the payment is completed. Which is bullshit. At least the computer is fine and I guess we all learn from our mistakes. I shouldn't of panicked and thought it out before I bought the program, but I didn't know it was a bogus program. I thought it was similar to one of those registery cleaners that have ads on the side once in awhile.

Hey guys, I bought a new computer March 28th. On the 29th I got a trojan virus. I went online before all of the security was up, pretty stupid. A program came up and said my computer was infected and I needed their product to get rid of the virus. The program was "Win 7 Antispyware" and then I purchased the product because I had no control of my computer. After I purchased the program my computer became totally infected. I called Microsoft and they couldn't help. Just by chance I had made a restore point before I had done anything when the computer was brand new. So I just restored it to the original condition and everything was fine. My problem now is that I disputed the payment with Paypal. And here is what they say I need: However, if you did receive a virus when you downloaded the anti-virus, we will need the following: - A second opinion (in writing) from a qualified expert stating that the software that you received doesn’t match the original description. Ask the expert to explain what’s wrong with the software that you received. The written opinion should be on the expert’s letterhead, include the date, state the expert’s years of experience in their field, and be signed by the expert. Also, please ask the expert to provide copies of their credentials (for example, a copy of their license in the field). - If the qualified expert agrees that the software you received doesn’t match the original description, delete the software from your computer and tell us that it was removed. I need this by Monday. Can anyone of you that meets their criteria please help me. Just send it to [email protected]. I am on a fixed income and I am disabled. I wonder if being a depressed country has anything to do with it. Also population maybe a big factor. Cool stats though. Thanks for bringing that to our attention. Now drink more beer. Damn I wish I was going to the XI fest this summer. I make some kick ass beer. It's really easy to do. A lot cheaper than buying it. I think it cost me about $4 and change per gallon for some really great beer. Not Bud light or any weak beers like that. I used the kit in a can. And then you add malt sugar and yeast. And you can get a lot of different flavors. It takes about $75 to get started, but after that it is a piece of cake. You could even make some marijuana beer, that would be some kick ass beer. The bottles cost you quite a bit to get started initially. You beer drinkers should give it a try.

I got one last week called 'Win 7 Antispyware". The are the same thing but different names. There are about a dozen or more names it goes under. It will lock up your computer and delete program files. This happened to me the day after I bought a brand new computer. But I did a restore point before I did anything. So I restored back to the original setup and that worked to get rid of it. Make sure you do regular restore points and that your internet security is working good. I caught my virus because I didn't have all of my security setup right before I went on to the internet. There is ways to get rid of it, but if you get it you will have to use another computer to look up how to get rid of it. It is one mean fucking virus, so be careful. Good post Wizid, thanks

I am having some of the same issues as Beers. It won't load by running setup if I manually open the CD. I did a patch from Activision and it said make sure the game is installed properly. I tried to set the compatibility to windows 2000. Still no changes and I get horizontal flickering lines on the screen. So you must of gotten a new computer Beers. I had COD2 installed on my XP computer, but not on this one with Win 7 64 Bit. I wanted to install it because the top line in the XI downloader is never usuable. So with COD4 installed, I can't download any maps to the ACE mod. It won't let me click on the box. I thought that if COD2 was on top then it would work. COD2 is definately getting old and has some compatibility issues with win 7. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Beers said he will buy the beer. lol

One thing that wasn't mentioned is that at times there is still some lag. Just enough to throw things off once in awhile, that is what you notice during game play. But when you look at the film it looks different than the game play. What looks like a hack in game play may not show up as one after you review the films. I wonder what happened to all of the people. We used to get a lot more players on our servers, now it is late in the day before I see anybody. If you see a hack or even suspect that they are hacking then get a hold of an Admin. We are here to help our members first and the public second. But we must be fair and if there is a doubt then we can just ban that person. Players are innocent until proven otherwise. So set back have a cold one and play the game. It doesn't do any good to complain about every shot that someone makes that you may disagree with, let an Admin figure it out instead of whinning and complaining, which lowers the game experience for the other players. Don't get me wrong, we want everyone to have fun on our servers. That is the bottom line. And if it is obvious someone is hacking then tell someone, please. It just drives people away if someone is complaining too much. That is almost as bad as someone hacking. I haven't been playing much because of computer trouble. But I am back on, if I can ever find someone on. So I am rusty so come and kick my ass, please.
