Even Id stopped supporting dedicated servers with Rage - although they did release mod tools for it. I wonder what Rage 2 will offer.

Sammy this happens on the old mod that's on the NY server. On the new server there haven't been any issues that I've noted, but the data is too limited to know for sure. Sure would be nice if we put the new mod on both servers IMHO.

The map is starting to take shape. Not entirely sure where I am going with it - I am just sort of "organically" making it. I.e. I am just making shit up as I go along.

The new mod is awesome. Put it on both servers and let Sammy catch up on his sleep. Thanks for your hard work Sammy.

I upgraded this past year (GTX 560ti video card, I7 CPU and 16gb of RAM) and if has made everything much better. I play games at full resolution with all settings maxed. Ironically I then got a new work laptop with dual I7s and 32gb of RAM. Crappy vid card in it though.

We managed one buck between myself, my brother, and my dad this year. I didn't see anything I could even legally shoot at (two spikes, and a six pointer). My dad missed a big 8 and my brother harvested this nice ten pointer on the second day of the season: So far, this year has been a mixed blessing for me. I have yet to have a single doe in bow range. I missed a Booner at 32 yards with my bow (I flat out panicked). If you remember the trail cam photo I posted before the season I posted one of a big buck with two stickers off of his left G2 - well, I actually got a shot at him and missed him. Shot right over his back. Massive fail. I have seen two other shooters - one in range, but it was after legal shooting light. I am heading up north for the Wisconsin gun season this weekend - the pickings are slim up there so I will shoot any legal buck I see. In 6 years of hunting up there, I have seen exactly two buck, one of which I harvested (a 4.5 year old 8-pointer). The other was a spike so I let him walk. But I am going to hunt hard and hope for the best. After that, I will be able to hunt the muzzleloader down here in the fertile farm lands of Southwestern WI, and hopefully tag a doe AND a buck; then I have the whole late archery season to try and tag another doe and a buck. It would be really nice to get 2 or 3 deer in the freezer.

I saw this picture on FB... it's an impressive buck, but I am guessing it was shot at a high fence operation. If so, I am not that impressed.

Well, deer hunting for me is starting to wind down, so I have started working on my second map. I am doing things a little differently this time - I am building all the terrain by hand (including all rocks, ledges, etc.) using terrain patches instead of clipping brushes, etc. This way, I can do a lot more texture blending. Here is a screenshot:

My dream job is to be Lee Lakosky. Then I get to hunt for a living, and get to tag Tiffany Lakosky every night after I get outta the woods.

Well goddamnit now I can't trust anything any of you say. For all I know HellonHeels looks like Stormcrow and Stormcrow looks like HellonHeels. And Flush's "wife" is really his sister (I've always had my doubts!) and Pitbulpete is really a woman (which may or may not be true... never been sure on that one). The only thing I know with certainty is that XI provides awesome servers and an awesome gaming community. The rest of it... well... I will keep my eyes open. I'm watching you! In all seriousness, this is utter bullshit. We develop real relationships with people here. Playing on that and abusing it, in my opinion, is one of the worst kinds of predation, and in my opinion is criminal.
