We'll have a flotilla of 8 or 9 other boats from our dock. Us and another million IDIOTS sweltering in this miserable heat for what should be a memorable trip. Hopefully in a good way! I was hoping to do some boating this week, but the heat is killer. Saturday we will get a little break in the heat. But where we boat, July 4th is always a chit show with "weekend" boaters who do not know boating laws. We just sit out back and watch the idiots from lounge chairs !!! I should correct myself, we have a boat lift and got hit in a tornado a few years back. Destroyed our old boat, but the lift survived !! It was hotter than hell and one of the Air conditioners on the boat went on the fritz and couldn't get the generator to crank yesterday for our trip home...but it was a great weekend.
