I know you can run more maps than this on your PC but for your own good maybe you should remove maps we don't use right now.I asked Rugger to always put the newest maps at the end of the rotation.So there they are.

One small favor?

 

Please look into the map 'Stanlingrad'. It completely crashes my game everytime. I've deleted all of my maps and uploaded them using the XI downloader at least four separate times and it still crashes. Also, there's a problem with the opening screen shot on the same map, it seems like it doesnt' know whether it's "Corrosion" or "Stalingrad". Usually when I see this map come up I just quit the game and come back later.

Hi Johnny, well hmmm...isnt' the STOCK map called CORROSION? You have a map that downloads with a load screen called STALINGRAD (I've seen it over and over again...), perhaps this is the problem?

If it's a stock map there shouldn't be a copy in the 'usermaps' folder should there? I mean if ALL of our maps are CUSTOM then maybe there is a hiccup between the stock and custom maps in the rotation?

Johnny, if it's on my end then why will the Corrosion map play fine on *other* servers? I just played a stock map server for four hours straight with NO issued on any map including CORROSION. It's the Stalingrad custom version that crashes me. Also, I've already deleted my entire MOD and USERMAPS folders (did it again just last night) several times and re-downloaded all the maps and the mod from scratch. Still, that map in particular hangs me up at the same point everytime.

Delete mp_Stalingrad folder out of your usermaps folder. Or run the XI downloader and make sure house keeping is checked and the downloader will take care of it.

A little explanation of why this is happening

 

A while ago we ran a Custom map named mp_stalingrad, this was in our redirect and players downloaded it either via the game or via the downloader, then Activision released the last patch with a new map in it named Corrosion, this is the External name for this new map, the internal name for it is mp_stalingrad, so when the server starts to play the map named Corrosion, your game tries to load the Internal name for it but doesnt know which one to load because it's seeing 2 maps named mp_stalingrad,

 

To solve this issue, do as Rickjames says and either remove the map named mp_stalingrad from your usermaps folder or run the downloader with housekeeping turned on,

And that is the right thing to do.Ph4ntom's explanation is right on.The map should be no problem now XI COD 5 players The map will load without downloading any files cause we all have it from the new patch,

i dont have any map problems at all, i just run the downloader everyday before playing and update and delete the maps that it wants to. job done
