An addendum: The ads inspired memories of growing up in the '50s. We had nothing to masturbate over except the occasional National Geo pictures or the women's bra/panties section of the Montgomery War catalog - until, that is, I found my father's porn book in his basement workshop. Right next to where he hid it until his auger bits, was an old stuffed chair. Years later, after my father died, we were cleaning out the basement and I mentioned that we needed to carry that old chair out. My youngest brother responded, "Oh, yah, the jackoff chair." I had two older brothers, and four younger brothers, and after some discussion, we learned that each, in their turn, had found that book, and used that same chair for their, uh, self-entertainment. None of us wanted to touch it. In fact, we left that chair right where it was and from what I understand, when the house was sold to a neighbor and he tore it down, he dumped the debris into the basement. The jackoff chair still exists, though it will never be used again.
 Awards
