Hoping somebody has a clue about about an SLI lockup problem.

I have a Dell XPS 630 with 4GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 processor, dual GeForce 9800GT cards with 512MB each, on a Dell motherboard using nVidia nForce 650 SLI chipset, 750W power supply, running W7 Pro, 32 bit.

I got this rig last fall with Vista Home Premium and I suspect SLI was never enabled in the Nvidia control panel because I never opened the control panel

turn off the PhysX. cod crysis don't use it. And it causes crashes.

If that does not work swich the cards turn off sli and see if the problems show up. You might have a bad card

COD4 reinstall the game save your profile

Yes the dual card option may be ur best bet to fix it. And also I wouldnt use the beta drivers.
