This was my post "We would have to get them to reform some form of data entry into a data base and check for speed and errors. Then repeat the test at the end of the course. The difference in the score would give you some information on how much they improved. As well if you had a test in the middle of the course you would be able to pin point where in the course the most learning is accomplished. What percent of learning curve for actual production output vs time allotted to assimilate all new training techniques via computer use has been set will help in determining who would need more training and who would be good trainers of the program because they picked up on it right away. This would be part from your samples that have taken the course and would give you the information of the mean. "

Student response"Eric ~ I took a different direction assuming that because they had computer training as well as data entry training that the old system may have been a manual data entry system. Without a prior system how would you evaluate the effectiveness of the training? Either way your suggestion of evaluating them during the training is great."
