SMOKEMIST Posted December 1, 2012 Member ID: 3655 Group: **- Inactive Registered Users Followers: 5 Topic Count: 46 Topics Per Day: 0.01 Content Count: 198 Content Per Day: 0.04 Reputation: 53 Achievement Points: 1538 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 08/19/12 Status: Offline Last Seen: February 17, 2014 Birthday: 09/16/1991 Posted December 1, 2012 (edited) hello people . im running gtx 670 on sli. running bf3 . my gpu usage is very very low. when sli turned off the single card usage goes up till 100% when ever i enable sli the gpus' usage becomes 40%-50% so i can't really get the performance outta sli settings. pls help me. i have i5 3570k 1000w psu. even when my cpu on stock speed it does not go past 75% of its full potential anyways since its k cpu i oc d it 4.2ghz all stable. maximum temparture 58c when stress testing (triple 120mm fan liquid cooling radiator). ive got double corsair vengeance 4gb. the gpu temp doesnt go up higher than 60 as well. im running 306.97 i have tried the latest beta as well. but its all the same so are many other different drivers. so its not botllenecking nor driver or temp issue. its just so stupid.on gulf of oman without sli it runs bf3 on ultra 78 minimum 115 max, average 90-100 fps. on sli only max fps increases when im indoor or looking at the sky. i feel like i wasted 400 bucks for nothing. If not, who cares about processor usage.....it's ALL about the game play. As the others have mentioned, the PCIE slots are dominated by the 16x slot. Personally, I don't believe in using SLI or Crossfire. It was invented to sell more video cards. Yes, it is faster, for awhile, then they introduce a new single card solution that is faster 6 months down the road.

Please post what Monitor and native resolution please. To me it sounds like your Video cards are running Perfect. One card full load ..two cards half load. Come over to the Crysis servers and run that at 2560x1600 on a 30" monitor. That will push your cards. Mine run at @75% each and somewhere around 35c when in game. At 925MHz each. I have a G510 keyboard with a screen on it. I run MSI afterburner and it shows all that info on my keyboard. Just in my case the cards are sharing the load.
