It stopped mcaffee from working, Windows xp virus wouldnt work. So I fired it up in safe mode and ran a virus scan to no avail. any tips? Awards

Put rkill and malwarebytes on a usb flash drive form a different computer. Boot the infected computerin safe mode, copy rkill to desktop and run it. It will shut of the virus. You can then run the malware install. the virus might have blocked your internet so you will have to go into tools, internet options, connections, lan settings and reset the proxy to automaticely detect settings. Then you will be good to go. Run malwarebytes and let it do its thing. Let it update itself which is why you haveto fix the proxy settings. Clonebug Awards
