Spain only been winning things in the last few years Damage, but you are correct the USA like England will not win the world cup, the winners will come from Europe or South America and by South America it will only be Brazil or Argentina, from Europe it will probably be Spain, Italy, Germany or Holland...lookout for tiny Belgium to cause a few surprises though, once a team is through the group it is a straight knockout so there could be some shocks along the way.

Mexico is in the playoffs against New Zealand.  The first post should of had a comma after USA and there shouldn't have been an "s" on thank, which means his sentence was thanking the US for beating Panama, so that Mexico could still go to the World Cup.  Honduras placed third in CONCACAF, which means they automatically qualify for the WC Finals.

We ain't gonna be seeded this time, when Fifa put out the world rankings today we will be 10th, only first 7 in rankings and Brazil will be seeded and Brazil are about 12th at the moment yet will be favourites with Spain when tournament starts, Belgium Switzerland and Colombia will be surprising seeds this world cup, wouldn't mind drawing Switzerland or Colombia at all but Belgium are gonna cause a few upsets i think.

Germany and Spain are definitely the favorites.  Belgium is the dark horse this year for sure, although they never really played any quality opponents in qualifying.  It will be interesting to see how they do on the big stage.  What a joke that Columbia and Switzerland are ranked in the top ten.  FIFA rankings are stupid.  All of the South American teams and England will underachieve like always.  They all have great players, but they don't play well as a team.  If the US gets grouped with one of the South American teams except Brazil and Argentina, they have a chance to win the group if they continue to play like they have been this year.

England will only underachieve if we don't get out of the group stage at this world cup (then again it depends who is in the group) at last so far there is no big expectations coming from England, we are in a transition phase with lots of young players coming through, nobody is talking us up this time but that could change again when the tournament gets closer, i hope not because it's the last thing we need heaping on all these young players, it seems the biggest danger to England achieving anything worthwhile is once again down the the British press (gutter press) who seem to get off on England actually failing, God knows some of the shit they regularly put out just before big games or after games we have done well in, makes us all think over here that they actually would rather write stories of English failure rather then English success.
