Take a look at these verses: Isaiah 14:

¹² How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! ¹³ For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

¹⁴ I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. ¹⁵ Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. ¹⁶ They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; ¹⁷ That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

 

Given the time these words were written, the idea that  the present age is the only age seems to be challenged here. Our human ancestors go back much farther than we think. Remember, God seems time in a different way:

 

2 Peter 3:8-9 ⁸ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. ⁹ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I believe in some of this as being true, but having said that I also know there are a lot of unexplained things I have experienced in my life. The spirit world is another world unto itself. Kind of like another dimension. I believe in God as the Christians do but I also believe He has a sense of humor and all of those that talk about how He is this big judgmental OGRE ready to throw your ass into this fire that will consume you for eternity, well that is a bit far fetched for me. Yet I do believe that there are other worlds with life on them too. Think about it there are millions if not billions of galaxies out there and we would have to be pretty . self absorbed to think we are the only life in the universe! Yes I get tired of all the unreasonable claims but remember we are human beings lol Thgis is a subject that can go on and on but we will still believe as we choose regardless what anyone else syas or believes! Me and my puny small mind will still hold to my beliefs as I have them now!
