Nice bikes!

Maz - your bike sounds awesome. Let me know if you guys ever make it to Laconia - we'll hook up.

Both wheels on the pavement and lean hard enough to scrape the pegs...

Ride Safe!

I been riding harleys for 35 years

my rules

1. assume all cages are going to do something stupid

2. always look for plan B (someplace to get outa friggn trouble,a safe excape route)

3. always scan the road as far as you can see (take note of what is going on with the cross roads so you can get ready or avoid dumbass moves)

4. (this one saved my life once) always always always look in your mirrors when comming to a stop...at lights and signs this really important ( give yourself a little room between you and the car in front of you) this gives you room to pull up along side of the car in front if someone behind you doesnt stop)

5. cornering ...come in soft and power through....tough to slow down in a corner and you can always increase speed in the corner...FUN TOO;)

5. learn to counterstear....much more to riding than leaning....90% of my cornering is  pressure on the handlebars

6. Learn what the friction zone is and how to use it.......no not that one ....thats another subject

7. Take a Motorcycle safty course

8. oh yah cars will turn left across your lane, because they are too bussy texting to have time to lookout for you

Nice bikes Mal and Maz. Good rules to follow also Nobody. I have been riding since I was 11 years old starting with dirt bikes. I am 62 years old now and this is my current ride. Bought it brand new in November of "03" and it's an "04" model. We need to find out where all the bike riders live and maybe get together sometime. My wife and I have rode ours to Upsate NY and back. Live in Florida.Wolfs ride

Nice Points Nobody...#4 is a great safety tip....I'm always checking to see if they're going to smack me in the rear...but I've not been leaving that large of an area infront to actually bypass the car stopped infront of me.

Beautiful Bikes everyone Nobody,Wolftis, Mazdarati and Mal!

This is a pic of myself by my bike last year in Sussex NB on a bike trip...an 1100cc Yamaha Vstar, my husband has a 1600cc Roadstar

100_0330b.jpg

I'm in NB, Canada if anyone is ever travelling this way ....I'm still not sure if we're headed to NovaScotia this year on the bikes or down into the States again.
