I am not a fan of the all-in-one crap, But I have been running IObit for a few years and I am very happy with it In fact I paid for the full version, first time I ever did that with maintenance software

As flakey as it seems, I would look at your power supply and see if it is in spec, you can download a hardware monitor here http://download.cnet.com/windows/3055-2094_4-10793486.html?&tag=pdl-redir when you install it be sure and decline the weather app, or you will have another piece of crap running on your system. but run the monitor and you can view information about your hardware real time, you can look at your cpu core voltages and temp and see if something funky is going on. do you have access to a spare power supply you could swap out for testing?

<p>If you go someplace, they are going to pull hardware off the shelf if they have old stock they need to turn over, that means you are paying a premium price for hardware that could be getting long in the tooth. If I pick my hardware myself, that isn't happening. One good reason to build one, or select the parts for the build.</p> <p>I also see a lot of builders skimp on the power supply ( big fucking dumb mistake) you can go with the best hardware out there and with a shitty power supply you will have a shitty PC. A crappy power supply causes more problems than any other piece of hardware in a PC</p>

Build it your self, I have built many more than I can count. Newegg is your friend

since he is not up on the tech side of things, maybe a restore point will get him up and going, before messing with things he is not comfortable with

Steam was the death of COD as far as i care, I tossed my black OPs. By the time they had it running right on line I would to have forked out another 30.00 to play on any server with their lame ass canned maps, FUCK them

I just watched a movie I must have seen 100 times, but not in years. "once upon a time in the west" one of the best spaghetti westerns made
