It does... however, it was every time mine would act up during gaming.  So I think what it was... was my computer was lagging out in the game, mine was attempting to stay connected to the internet which was killing the bandwidth in the house... which in turn caused his to lag out.  He never got disconnected though... just lagged for a few seconds until I would Ctrl-Alt-Del and end my game or wait for it to get kicked to the main screen

looks to me ISP issue our your router is failing

I'm not having speed issues... I get my speeds... and this only happens during gaming.

Ethernet, directly connected to the modem

They just gave you a new modem/gateway, issue happening on 2 different machines, new wire to the pole... I'll jump on the bandwagon and say it's either the router or something downstream from your access point at the pole.

it happens on 2 different computers so seems like internet issue not hardware/especialy if youve swapped parts between the two machines and reformatted yours so its not drivers- and the cable company ran new cable from the pole to the house and gave you a new modem so only thing left is have you tried a different router??

oh ive had to replace my splitters in my house like 3 times over the past 15 yrs /for giggles if they  havent been replaced thru the house try that maybe-but they are owned by the cable company so if they are bad contact them.but you wont know till ya try-if the splitters arent owned by the cable company then they will charge you for a service call

Well... when I reinstalled, the only things I have on my SSD are Windows and BF1...  my friend also sent me a Cat6E cable instead of the Cat5 that I had.  So... so far, I've had NO issues!  I don't know if it was the Cat5 that was bad, or if it was an over filled SSD...  *shrugs*  all I know is, it's FIXED!!
