I do have some options that has popped up but even they are unconfirmed at this minute. I was planning on staying in my car for the interim but it is now in the shop and when I took it there I was given an estimate of $600 to get it running and on the road. Now they want to add $800 for just replacing a power-steering hose. That was what I wanted done to begin with but they did get it running and had to replace the starter to do so. As you might guess I am pretty distressed over the whole thing but I need my car. I guess my two front tires are shot as well but that I can handle later. As of right now I will have to wait till I get paid on April 3rd to get my car out of the shop! Would someone in the know please explain to me why $800 for a replacing of a hose that is pretty accessible? If my options confirm then I will be okay but right now I just might be on the street as of tomorrow! Awards
