When I was starting up my pc was getting 2/3 beeps. I tried a lot of shit to fix it. Turned off the restart so I could read the blue screen. Seen the video driver error so I went to nvidia site and got the new 431.60 drivers and haven't had any problems since.

While i’ve not had an issue ‘yet’ with the blue screen with this pc, I am using the nvidia drivers for my 2080 graphics. I usually get a notice when there are new drivers but looks like I need to double check. Awards

It's amazing how much crap is in these drivers that's not needed and probably what causes most problems; https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nvidia-driver-slimming-utility.423072/ TedsofBeverlyHills and J3st3r 2

Tons of people are not computer savvy and they trust what they are installing!!! If it was not like people like you they would not know. Thank you for bringing this issue up and helping people with it. When I do a custom install I leave out quite a bit. I only install what I need. In nvidia one of the first things I always leave out the gforce experience. I do not find it useful.

Fire up the slimmer and pick the driver. 3. After it loads, pick what you want to install and hit apply. 4. Hit repackage and choose a location for the slimmed driver. 5. Install and enjoy a crap free driver! Angelz 1
