is it because student loan interest are lower??? i dont know about this reality in USA.

No it is because our glorious president wants to forgive up to 20,000 dollars of school loans to anyone who still has to pay them. Must sit really well for people who already worked to pay off their college loans.

the thing to be fair for everyone ,government should pay for at least 50% of all school costs to get more educated poeple in the future.

In Canada its already like it, cost of education is cheaper here college and university also.

The real question is - "What is the purpose of colleges??"  - many are run as a corporation to make money - many have extremely large bank rolls -

tuition could certainly be reduced to cover expenses - not make more money
