just hooked up 2 computers to keyboard,mouse and monitor via KVM switch.works great.

no loss,but i need to upgrade my monitor. this one is the only one with hdmi

Nice setup larrymc! I'm running two computers (work and personal) with the same keyboard, mouse & 2 monitors, but I was afraid to lose refresh rate, gaming picture quality... so I settled on a usb switch for the peripherals and run separate cables from each computer to each monitor. I'm running 2 1440p monitors at 144Hz.

I run a few computers from my monitor set and using one keyboard and mouse. To make it work I use mouse without borders
