For me? No. I personally find it more fun to play when you can also protect the flag. Maybe it's a rule that Admins and mods can enforce and keep an eye on and not permanent.. no camping at both your own flag and the flag of the enemy. I understand that it's hard to see when someone is protecting the flag or camping, but I still think the option to protect your flag should remain. What I find more important is; no camping in the anemy spawn. So don't stay in the enemy's spawn to shoot players instead of going for the flag. It's incredibly frustrating when you've just come back to life, to be shot by a camper who stays in a corner

These next options were done to maybe spur some strategic play as apposed to straight run and gun. WEAPON CLASSES Sniper and heavy gunner class is limited to 2 players per team. All others are unlimited. WEAPON ATTACHMENTS Grenade launcher attachment is limited to 1 player per team. PERKS No martydom. No last stand. No flamethrower. No bazooka. No two primary weapons. OTHER No vehicles/tanks.

When i played a lot of CTF on the DPG server, It was part of their posted rules NO Enemy Flag camping, which was a kickable offense!

It's new at the moment but hopfully this will change but yes, always difficult especially when times people play vary. See how it goes to start, maybe consider a gathering on a certain day or two a week.

Think the biggest problem is getting people on the server. so far all I have seen was Leggi playing with himself { cant get that out of my mind now, scared for ever lol} , and me Sancho , and Sparky which made for lousey teams.

I think a reasonable time limit for being in one place and a fairly short distance to move still allows one to "protect the flag" but also deals with the camping issue. How about trying the following for starters: Max time in one position: Set a limit, such as 1-2 minutes. This would encourage players to move and prevent them from staying in one place for too long. Movement speed: Consider increasing the minimum movement speed or adjusting the time to leave a location (e.g., after 1-2 minutes, players must move 20-30 meters).

Protect but not camping, yes I agree with You Esssieee, Esssieee.

It is useful if, when you have the flag, you can 'hide' somewhere in your flat spawn if your own flag is in the hands of the other team. So that you can hide when your team gets the flag back.
