    you can take the fuse out for the antilock brakes and it will not effect the brakes. Make sure you check the Diff. fluid i would change it if ithas not been done . If it has limited slip you should add the additive to too. At the town garage where i work we change the trucks between 50 to 75 thousand miles. Cheap insurance.
