Good news from Lord of Chaos, they removed and replaced his bandages yesterday. His right leg is better than they expected, he won’t need skin grafts per sure. He is now walking around the ward by himself, without any help.  His arms still need time to recover and he will be working with a physiotherapist on them. Lots of stretching and painful exercises ahead, but things are definitely on the right track.

He received an autographed football from Wally Buono, the former head coach and current GM of the BC Lions. Lord is using a laptop and he will be around tonight to chat on the XI COD5 team speak server.
 
These are all great news, but the real highlight of the day -for LOC that is- is that HXTR will be sending LOC a batch of his "slightly" modified pinto bean recipe overnight... I am not sure what effect that will have on LOC's health, good thing he's at the hospital, they've got plenty of Pepto over there lol

Seriously though, from what I have seen of this group, they would rather have you on extended leave than turn in your tags. I have to agree with that. I just filled out my formal application this morning and I told RockApe and the other admins that this community feels more like a family...a dysfunctional family, but family none the less.
 
Life kicks us all in the man-bag from time to time, some more than others, but you'll never be fully alone if you keep your friends around....even if they are online.

first, dont drop your tags...just post a leave of absence...nuff said on that.  Secondly...if you cant swing the dough but you and your fiance' are firm on your nuptials, go to the justice o' the peace and do your thing. Then later, if you guys still have that new car feeling about each other...have a ceremony and renew your vows for all to see. its the reception that matters the most...BIG PARTY!!!!!! i have been for both of mine, and it surely didnt effect the quality of my marriage. Might have upset the inlaws the first time...but beings as that didnt work out..no harm no foul. try not to worry about what you sell Kush. Anyhting like that can be replaced...at one point in time. try and just keep a cool head. If money is tight, just prioritize....im sure everything will work out ok in the end KUSH.

There was a barista at my local Starbucks who used to drive me nuts with her "enthusiasm". Customer service is nice, but she was way too loud and way too “customer service oriented”.
She always had a sharpie  to write customers names on their "hand crafted beverages".  But for some mysterious reason she had trouble spelling my name.  She would ask and I would say Matt, they she would write it on the cup really slowly spelling it really loud as she wrote: Matt, M.....A.....T.....T, double T right? Yes, thank you MATT your coffee will be ready shortly... Next!!  Sometimes I would be the only customer at the store, but she would ask my name regardless and spell it wrong: "Max", “Mark", "Marx" and so on. 
 

 
One morning Starbucks was packed with people. I had to wait forever because everybody had a list and was ordering more than one "complicated" drink. ("Half caf non fat mocha
 machiatto with extra carmel, extra vanilla,  no ice, ice in a cup, whip cream on the side, just a serving size, skim milk to go, and just a sprinkle(winkl) of cinnamon, fat free" ). By the time I got to the counter she grabbed her Sharpie and asked me my name.  This time I said "DICK” and her face turned bright bright red. Everybody at Starbucks that heard me was laughing.  She got embarrassed. looked at me and asked:  Do you spell that with an "I" or an "Y" ?
