  5. This is from their site: ASRock Online Management Guard (OMG) Fast, Easy and Free – ASRock OMG technology allows you to establish an internet curfew or restrict internet access at specified times. Administrators are able to schedule the starting and ending hours of internet access granted to other users. Normally, ISPs (Internet Service Provider) will charge for internet curfew service, which controls "all" the PCs connected at home. However, ASRock OMG is a free tool for controlling internet access of each single PC. Parents can easily control internet access through the BIOS setup to protect their kids from using the Internet at inappropriate times, and meanwhile, enjoy their own internet space.
  6. My question is this: How do I turn my start button back on? It stopped working and I can't get it to come back on.
  7. I was so frustrated by this that I was about to get my shotgun out and have my fun that way. A while ago I had a thought so I started looking into the set up of my motherboard. I found an app there that I had enacted but didn't know what it was until I looked at it and the times this was happening was all marked internet restrictive. I clicked all the blue X's and turned them all off and rebooted and for now it nworked and I am back in the game. Thanks guysb for all your suggestions as regardless how they sounded I was frustrated enough to try them. You guys are awesome! Thanks again!
  8. I am just about ready to give up. I have been having this same damned problem for over 2 months and it comes like clock work every week. I have a really good connection and all hardware is new and from out of nowhere it really starts lagging and continues to do so no matter what I do until about 4 days go by then it miraculously starts working again.I have tried everything and even uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled new ones and yet it persists. I really need help here. I also tried it with the new network adapter I bought and installed but then I lost all network connection. A pop-up said something to the effect that the address was not proper and something else. I tried to take a screen shot and it nwon't post it here for me so you all could see it. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. I am using ethernet! But an interesting thing happened a little while ago and Windows fixed my problem by itself. I had to reboot it and it scanned the drive in the procewss and when it was over it said there was a driver error and had me reboot again and then all seems well at this point! Idk what really happened but I am back up again!

  19. I have reset my router so many times it is beginning to hate me! lol My ping is where it is suppose to be. I am wondering if there is some setting somewhere that is glitching on me. As it does it about the same time every week and also seems to go away the same way! Yes it is a very odd issue!
  20. I did several speed tests and I maxed the meters out so I know my connection to my pc is good. There is something going on inside somewhere!
  21. Last night i started having my connectivity probs again. I am at a loss and have no idea what to do next. So if you have any idea please let me know. All hardware is new and I have the highest connection Xfinity has available in this area. When I do speed test it maxes the meters out. Yet when I am trying to do anything it acts like the old dial-up connection I had years ago. When it does connect it runs fast like normal then within 5-10 seconds it is squelched don't to no connection to do anything with. We have tried different ports and a new CAT6 cable. The only thing left is to try the new PCie internet adapter I bought, but the realtek one is brand new as the motherboard is brand new. Please help if you have any suggestions what I can do to fix this once and for all.
