  1. I'm learning to program weight indicators (the 920i specifically) from Rice Lake Weighing Systems. I'm stuck out here in Rice Lake, WI this week for the programming class my company sent me to. Seems I'm not quite close enough to Rugger, cbags or FooFighter to rent a car and drive down and back to visit (4 hours? round trip driving time)... The class itself is only enjoyable because of the others that are attending, one being Canadian. You guys are too funny, eh! Another guy is a good ol' boy from Georgia that practically has redneck tattooed on his forehead. If it wasn't for their entertainment I think my head would explode. Aside from that, I am thoroughly impressed with this company. They truly know how to take care of their customers, employees and community. They've made some tough decisions about keeping the manufacturing of their products in the States and trying to draw from the local communities as much as possible (there's only so many welders in any given area). Every night they take us out to eat at the local joints on the company's dime with a different company representative. So far every employee has been more than gracious and kind. I'm sure they are taking a loss on offering these classes, but they've gained my loyalty through their commitment to quality products and employees. Cheers to the cheese heads!
  2. AK47 has Vista and can't find where the files for COD4 are kept. Could someone give him some specific instructions?
  3. Did it for you, Cream Puff!
  4. I'm using it. It's great to monitor temps and fan speeds, as I like to know how hot my cpu and video card are getting. Interesting to see which games are more taxing on the system.
  5. So sorry to hear of the passing of your wife. 40 years still isn't enough time with a loved one. My family is praying for you and yours.
  6. This was Mt Dew's site, don't know if it's still up.... ftp://xiftp.sytes.net/
  7. Had a good time gaming with Dean, Scooby and Lost tonight. I'll be sharpening my knife for when we meet again Dean!
  8. Mark Twain summed this up best by calling it "Lies, damned lies, and statistics" I don't trust a liberal's "facts." Seems to me they will lie because the end justifies the means.
  9. Ever notice how serious posts get so few replies? But if you said FU to Funstick this thread would be 12 pages long? Human nature I guess.... One of my greatest inspirations was a my 8th grade Algebra teacher/football coach. He had taught the "elephant man" in California (not Joe Merrick) before moving to Idaho (got tired of kids spiking his coffee with shrooms and such). He always had this look on his face like he was about to kill a kid for screwing off, yet he really cared about his students and players. I remember him throwing away all the tests one day because he said he hadn't done a very good job teaching us as indicated by our test scores. Every once in a while he'd grab a friend of mine, put him in a sleeper hold, say "goodnight", and lay him out in the middle of the hall for everyone to step around! That was, of course, before teachers could get sued.... Every year high school graduates would come back to his class just to say thank you. I wasn't gonna play football in 9th grade (still Jr. High back then) and he got wind of it. He come over to the house just to ask me to play. Not because I was the greatest player ever, but because he wanted to surround himself with good people. I don't think I played harder for any coach then him.... Here's to Joseph Keeney! I think I need to pay that man a visit.
  10. Ruggerxi I would like to be able to add more big zombies rounds, but I do not have control over that. In order to have more Big Zombie rounds, you have to increase the amount of all the other special rounds, like the hell zombies which will be a big problem since almost all the time they get stuck under the map. Then the server needs to be bumped to the next round, so you wont be able to play the big zombie rounds. I am trying everything I can to get ahold of someone who knows the mod maker and get my hands on the source code so we can mod it the way we want it, until then my hands are tied. I see some activity in their forums: www.coddev.net Not sure if they are still actively working on this mod....
  11. A fellow Glenn Beck fan?! Give me a hug!
  12. My neighbor has Samson pushing the pillars over on his back. Let me see if I can get a pic....
  13. When I listen to this vid I hear my own kids voices....
  14. Muffin, you could at least post some pics of hot chicks in somewhat transparent white cotton dresses..... Is it hot in here?! Take some tips from Boomer, he puts the chicks in his sig. I love everything he has to say! Welcome to the forums Meadow Muffin.
  15. God has been gracious to us! Since the birth of our 6 year old daughter my wife has miscarried 10 times. Each one carries its own grief and the seemingly never-ending bouts of depression. We eventually came to the conclusion that we could no longer have children and were looking forward to having all the kids in school this year. Then she said those dreaded words to me again: "I'm pregnant." It's not that I don't get excited about another ankle-biter in the house. I just didn't want to go through another cycle of depression and nursing my wife back into emotional stability. The doctor gave us two choices: 1) put Sabrina on hormone injections every three days or 2) ride it out and see what happens. We chose the latter. Some people said we were choosing to kill our baby if Sabrina didn't get the progesterone shots. However, our view was that our God is mighty beyond all human comprehension. If He wanted us to have this baby, then He is able to see that dream to fruition. Throughout the pregnancy neither my wife or I wanted to get too excited about the real possibility of this baby's birth. It was almost as if we were waiting for the other shoe to drop... So many times before she had miscarried. Even when we made it through the first trimester it still didn't put our minds at ease. And yet, this baby kept on trucking. The last three weeks have been miserable for Sabrina. At 36 weeks she began having regular contractions, sometimes 5-6 minutes apart and usually starting in the afternoons and lasting well into the night. At that point, that Saturday, we decided to take the doctors advice and pre-register at the hospital and have a tour of it before the baby was born. Sabrina mentioned the contractions to one of the nurses, which turned into an overnight stay, trying to stop pre-term labor. But the contractions would continue. The following Wednesday, as we were preparing dinner, the contractions became 5 minutes apart and Sabrina said she felt awfully sloppy down there, as if the baby could fall out. So, back to the hospital we went, only to return home a couple hours later because the contractions back off to half hour intervals. The next two weeks we were more prepared. We changed our mindset - baby wasn't coming until April (her due date was March 28th) and Sabrina would just be mostly miserable until then. I had an MSHA recertification meeting that I needed to attend on Friday. Work had already rescheduled it once in case Sabrina went into labor, but I told them I would bug out of the meeting if she called to say she was in labor. We made it through the meeting without incident. Sabrina talked to a friend (and midwife) who suggested a concoction of castor oil to kick start her into labor (since she was past 38 weeks now). The midwife said it would take a minimum of 3 hours before anything would happen and would result in one of two results: diarrhea and labor, or just diarrhea. Sabrina said she's never felt so cleaned out before! Then late Saturday night her contractions kicked up a notch... or three. They came 15 minutes apart, but much stronger than before. She was tired enough to sleep in between them before calling the hospital nurse and deciding to come in in the morning. I, of course, slept wonderfully through the night with no clue of what had transpired until she woke me at 7 a.m. to tell me we need to head to the hospital. Naturally, our OB doctor was out of town, but God was good. The on-call doctor received most of his training in Mexico, where there were no high tech baby monitoring equipment. He said himself, "I'm the closest thing to a midwife you'll find in this hospital." And he was just our style. By 9 a.m. the contractions hadn't intensified, so he gave us the option to break the bag of waters... and we took it! Sabrina was more than ready to have her body back and I wanted to finally see the kid. He broke the water at 9:06 a.m. and wanted her contractions monitored for half an hour and then we walked, not for very long though. The contractions intensified and then those glorious words were whispered: "I think I need to push!" Quickly she was put back into bed and the doctor was called back into the room. A short labor and at 10:56 a.m. Gianna Marie was born! Perfectly healthy at 6 lbs 12 oz, a lot lighter than our other babies (all over 8 lbs). We had picked her name months before, Marie after Sabrina's brother's wife (a Swede), and Gianna meaning "God is gracious." And gracious He was... Gianna was born with the umbilical cord around her neck (not unusual) and a loose knot in the cord. Had that knot tightened up during the pregnancy would be burying a child today. But God IS gracious and good. Gianna Marie Born March 20, 2011 at 10:56 a.m. 6 lbs 12 oz 18 1/2 cm long Gia's Room And our neighbor's ewe threw two lambs the same day Gianna was born, just an hour earlier
  16. WANTED I really am sorry you got crushed man unfortunately that's life. In this day and age I find its rare for long lasting relationships. Its become to easy to say fuck it and move on without putting real effort into it. Long-lasting relationships can be found by those that are willing to put the time and effort into them. That means two people that put their spouse's needs above their own. Nowadays people give up too easily. I had to fight for my wife, and I'm not giving her up.
  17. I have been playing this quite a bit with my son. Every day he asks if we can play the zombie mod together. I love the weapon randomization, although it can get hilariously irritating when you get a pistol 10x in a row. Thanks for putting this up Rugger.
  18. I think it's the nut behind the mouse. Maybe it's time for a new PC?! I personally will look for any excuse... oops blue screen of death... time for a new monitor!
  19. My wife (God bless her!) bought me a Husqvarna ZTR 3016 (zero turning radius, 30" cutting swath, 16 HP motor) for Father's Day last year and I couldn't wait for the grass to grow. I even fertilized just to mow more often! I stick with the Husky brand, but to each his own.
  20. Congrats Bosun! Just keep your ping higher than mine and we'll all be fine.
  21. AMEN! Have gun, will travel.
  22. Am I missing something? Why drop the tags?
  23. Sorry for your wife's loss, Funstick. I know how helpless you must feel knowing you can't be there for her. My family is praying for you and yours.
  24. Good read. I'm always moved by the sacrifices of our military men and women.
