I always vote against daylight savings. That extra hour of light each day makes my curtains fade a lot faster.

I'm not sure what species that spider is, but one of the most common indoor spiders we have is the Huntsman. Normally fairly harmless, but scare the crap out of you when one falls on you. I always name mine Fred but I think I will call the next one Hxtr. My brother in law got bitten by one once which is reasonably unusual, it gave him one hell of a headache and the shakes for about 5 hours. As far as the low-flow toilets go, it can depend on where you live. Some areas of the country get so much rain in the wet season that water really isn't an issue, but overall it is quite dry here.

That's why when you see my donations it is always something like $11.11 or $12.34. I know that someone with OCD will come along and have to round it up to $.00. It's like remote "people watching".

My use of "liberal" in my post was a catch-all term for the easier access available generally in the US compared to Australia. I think Australia is too strict. I have numerous examples but here is one from when I was a state Police Officer: When I was stationed in the metro area I took a marked departmental vehicle home from time. But I couldn't take my firearm(s) home with me. I could either leave them at my station or at the nearest station to home. It made things interesting when deciding to take a call on my way home unarmed or at the start of shift the next day.

Well, as an Aussie Can I address a couple of these? 2. Why is your 10-cent coin smaller than your 5-cent coin? Well in Australia our $2 coin is smaller than our $1so I the same reason I suppose 3. There are a LOT of hoops to jump through here to own a firearm. But come on guys, the US is a "little" bit liberal on gun laws... 17. Why do you think we all drink Foster’s? Hey thanks guys! Unfortunately I am on board my ship at the moment so no beers The internet satellite link went down for about 24 hours so I only just got to see my birthday greetings. My family packed some presents in my kitbag for me - a tee shirt, book (American Sniper), and a $50 gift card for my local liquor store, woo hoo!
