    Well I said last year if the Fest was held in Vegas I would be there. So I got permission from Mrs Bosun which was no easy task ... BUT I cannot get leave approved. Even though I have got 70 days leave to take and 80 days long service leave it seems I am so f*cking indispensable that they can't do without me. Best case would see me arriving in Vegas 2 days after the Fest finished. Which means I would probably find at least half a dozen of you either in jail or naked and drunk in a gutter with Wild and Hxtr but I may have to put it off for next year...Ah well, such is life.

    Just stick with it, the servers aren't full all the time. And don't take it personally, admins have been known to kick >XI< members just for shits and giggles. It's a shame it happened so many times though.

    It happens to me now and then. Try exiting COD4 then restarting it and trying to join the game again. That always works for me.

    Hey Sammy I was playing the Firing Range map a couple of days ago. We were getting cut up pretty bad by an enemy helo and I was lucky enough to have a SAM launcher. It deployed okay, tracked and made the sounds of missiles launching but nothing actually happened. No missiles/no shootdown.

    Australia in 13th place which doesn't look too bad on paper. But out of our 6 submarines there would probably only be 2 on active patrol at a time. It also says we have 59 tanks but I was reading a while ago that we could only just deploy 1 squadron. Interesting to compare with other countries though.

    Hi bazza I had (have) a similar problem with WIN8.1. With WIN7 it automatically detected whether I had plugged in my USB mic/headset but sometimes with WIN8 it will not. I go into CONTROL PANEL>SOUND and then manually enable the headset and/or disable the other audio devices so the headset id the only device left enabled. Sometimes it requires a logoff/login to enable it.
