For you it should be in your documents, I dont remember because I always install mine in a custom games folder on another hard drive. Just do a search for config_mp and you should find it. Dont forget before you edit copy it and save a backup!

PT-Bama All I can tell you is when I used to have this problem, I would reload my vid drivers (latest version) and it would go away for a while. After a few vid driver revisions, it seemed to stop. That is when I had Nvidia. I have never had that problem on ATI (just saying.. I dig Nvidia). I have no idea if it was a conflict, or if that was just all coincidence but it worked. You can read all day all over the internet that it's your direct x drivers, or it is vid drivers, or it is xfire interfering with the game... and 10,000 other reasons/fixes. From the problem that I had, which is exactly like yours, a reload of my vid drivers cleared it up for a bit. It happened enough that for a time I kept a shortcut to my vid driver execute file on my desktop. Good Luck! I agree I had that for a bit, updated to new drivers and selected remove custom configs or whatever it was to clean everything and have not had it since.

Well from what I have seen the makers of PB were not smart enough to actually tell you what the driver was...I dont know if you can search by error number or not. Sometimes I get it just by using my talk button.

I would say a memtest is in order to see if that is the problem.

ph4nt0m Thats the total time it takes to create the page code itself including all database calls, to be honest we could probably do with slimming it down a little, just the forum pages alone have 54 database calls but the majority f those are to do with the module boxes on the left side, Hiding the module in the cookie jar shouldnt really have any effect because the module is still loaded, it's just hidden, although i do agree it does have an effect, but it shouldn't lol It cant be the chatterbox because the chatterbox is only loaded on the homepage, not the forum pages or pm's etc, all do some digging to see what i can sort out After looking into it today I was surprised to see how fast a large majority of the site loaded. I think the problems experienced on a lot of the pages were do to relying on external sites, wastebook, top 100, photobucket, etc. There are a lot of external variables that come in to play and for me they were more about network performance than the actual XI site performance. BTW I noticed hiding the module does help just because it does not have to load the external images. The member images for some reason (to me) was the worst. Honestly there is alot going on and things could always be tuned up but I say kudos to Ph4nt0m for such a good job!

Well my point is even if you got a crappy Linksys router it does not let anything in unless you let it. My firewall at my office gets hit every 15 seconds from China Dont mean its getting in, you must have some configuration issues.

I moved the XI pictures to the cookie jar and the Radio too (sorry) that seems to have solved my loading problems. Everytime it was slow I seen at the bottom of the page waiting for...and it was always the pics I would have to look for the site name I dont remember. I have not seen any issues with the chatbox though. Whats the IP? Do you go through a router of any kind? Is your firewall on? Hope you aint in a DMZ lol. Chances are its probly alerting you to a windows update as a false posative lol. If you aint got a firewall or are in a DMZ everyone is trying to connect to you. BTW you can try this. I installed it the other day and it will show you all the conversations and packets going through to your PC.

Oh I guess cant post mandarin, nevermind, just put them in your shirt pocket and send it in to get cleaned.
