I agree with you Renegade45, It's pretty discouraging to get those crashes all the time...it's killing me... Its mysterious how other servers don't....TREYARCH/Gamerserver are obviously NOT in a hurry to find a solution...

Well, Sandy bridge is NOT a game changer for i5 and i7 owners (1055T/1090T1100T AMD owners)...but for guys like me still running a socket 775 CPU, its more interesting! The PCI-E lanes are directly connected to the CPU... The 2600K, OCed easily to 4.5/4.6GHz, beats the Intel extrem 980x (6-cores) monster... If you own an actual i7, IVY BRIDGE, coming late in late Fall 2011 will be on a 22nm process (even smaller and cooler than Sandy bridge), it will also support new 6-core CPUs....

True, You have to..but anyway, with a new game like BO, you get every new game owner that comes-in and does what he feels like... Those servers are NICHE (specialty)...people bookmark'em and come back...you create a good bunch of regulars and you're good to go in the mid-term...it's a more realistic Every player of a crouch server do report those that run and break the rules... a set of rules could be...Crouch to move, standing is possible IF you're aiming down the sight, walk/run ONLY to avoid direct gunfire/grenade... If that happens, I , CplMOFO , commit to the clan to spend at least an hour minimum every night on that (eventual) server CI or not...I'm spending my fun money on computer parts and games to play Call of Duty after all... Gaming is my only hobby (besides family-related stuff)...all my spare time and fun money goes into computers...and GAMES...

Good call RogueKill! I'd LOVE to play on our own Crouch server! Jeez I like to use some high-powered rifles such as the FAL, the M14 and even the Dragunov... WHY did Treyarch put some spiner rifles in this game with those small maps??? That was stupid! Well, in crouch, we could even have fun using shotguns, once in a while... Crouch server = a little more tactics+broad range of suitable weapons to be used + less frustration (less spawncrap, less killstreaks rape)... I can hold my own sprayin' and prayin' always using the same weapons, but it ruins the game... Funny thing is: I enjoy playing on crouch servers, and I forgive MOST of the games shortcomings when I play that game type. Bad thing: As >XI< doesn't run a crouch server, I have to go play elsewhere to get my money worth out of that game... My two cents you MOFOs

Well, now, it seems like the XBOX freaks will be getting the extra maps earlier than PC and PS3 gamers...something to do with Microsoft having a 3 year exclusivity for game releases... Who cares anyway, it's gonna cost...15$ fook'm

Puketown makes me wanna, well...PUKE. I would really like a CROUCH server!!!! That is hard to "police", but jeez it's one of the only way to enjoy the game without all the spawn crap...and it's actually a good way to use semi-auto rifles...

Nice one Nightmare... Which CPU and motherboard do you have? C2Q, i5, i7 1156 or 1366? I really dig those HD6950 in Crossfire, their scaling and performance is awesome... I might grab two of those in March (tax return period lolz). The thing is, my Q9550, even Overclocked to 3.8, and the oldie-goldie P45 platform, might not be the best foundation for two of those cards... So I hesitate between a platform upgrade (possibly Sandy Bridge 2600K+ H70 watercooler/Mobo) and keeping my XFX HD5870 for another year, or grab two Hd6950s...

Howdy all, It's not a secret, the new generation of INTEL processors, codenamed "SANDY-BRIDGE" came out yesterday. They're being reviewed on every decent hardware review sites... The Truth....IF YOU NEED TO UPGRADE NOW, for a gaming machine, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! The "unlocked" i5 2500K Quad (no hyper-threading) and the i7 2600K Quad (8 virtual cores with hyper-threading) are overclocking like gods too... They usually overclock to 4.5GHz or more...with minimal voltage increase and on AIR cooling!!! In fact, even at stock clock, they break even with the Intel Extreme edition 980x HEXACORE (selling for $1000)...the 2600K, the fastest and more expensive, will retail for $320 US.... Builders check this out!

I understand the reluctance to reduce player amount to 12...we could run more than one 12 slots then...anyway, I make no mistakes, the admin decision is to keep going with the spawn-killing (18 slots on crappy microscopic maps)... Does anybody understands why Treyarch introduced SNIPER RIFLES in this game? You can never use them....maps too small. Unless you're all ready to pay $15 for the new maps.....apparently, the maps will be a little bigger...Treyarch/Activision got us by the balls and they SQUEEZE...

If you guys want to hear my "idiotic" opinion, this is what I'm gonna say: 18 slots is TOO much for FFA on these small maps...12 slots is perfectly fine (more room to spawn, less spawnkills, more skills, less killstreaks)...I don't know if it constitutes an option to you folks... If you're skeptical, just try a 12 slots HC FFA, and see for yourself... RANKED is where most people go (including the HUGE amount of new players that want to rank up so bad they would spawnkill their moms if they could)... Maybe UNRANKED is the solution, if our fellow clan mates don't mind populating...and hopefully, with less traffic less crashes???

Activision will probably try to milk every little bit of money they can from the gamers before they issue the MODTOOLS. Treyarch issued extra maps for free in COD: WAW...now they're failing hard...

Honestly, I find that they are pretty "cocky" of thinking about making us pay more for 5 extra maps, instead of fixing this broken game. That being said, those 5 maps were already ready from the get go I bet. They were supposed to let us mod the servers and give to the community the opportunity to create custom maps...they haven't released the modtools yet... What should we do? Shouldn't we boycott those bastards and their DLC? In a way, they'll "split" the community, between the people that will fork the $15 and the ones that won't... Activision, you like games, this is for you :

Time to put a nice cooler on that Q8300 and OC it. You'll get a nice boost. Is your PC a custom made one or a "package"? PM me if you need help. You could push it from 2.5GHz to 3.2 EASY....lots are getting them up to 3.4-3.5...

Sad to say, But until a "cure" is found, I'll have to stay away...it's incredibly frustrating...here we are, one of the most popular gaming clan, and regular players saying "hey >XI< guys, what the F... is going on with your servers?"... We need bigger maps too...it seems like you have to either camp or spawnkill to enjoy more than 5 seconds of life before you get hit... (here I am, working on keeping my whiner medal longer lolz)

MOE, I seen in another post that you run Win XP32? If you grab a 570, could be nice if you get Win7 64, to benefit from DX11 eye candy! Well, yes, the GTX570 is definitely the way of the future compared to the 5870... but since December 15th, now that the 6970 is out, it's not as clear....I use ATI now (5870) and it's perfect, but in my heart I'm a nvidia fan...(they just screwed up the 470s and 480s noise and temperature wize). Too bad my P45 mobo supports Crossfire only, because I'd like to grab 2 570s....might have to settle for 2 X 6950 (REALLY interesting still)

DLed the 10.12 driver, not with the preview. My system is stable...nothing to report...honestly, I haven't had one issue with CCC since i got my 5870.
