I think we should DEFINITELY keep the mines and trips but keep normal nades, I do like the fire nades but I also like the normal nades as well. Maybe replace smoke with fire nades as I don't see smoke grenades get used all that much?

I agree with the knife only map here. I don't mind the perks to be honest as they do add a twist to the game but as I rarely use them then I can't say much. They do piss me off now and then which is why I don't want them in all honestly and this is contradicting my first post, but I am happy either way. Perhaps we list the perks and let people choose what ones to keep and what ones to get rid of? That way we can find a neutral ground between wanting to get rid of them and also keep them?

Remove the perks but for the knife, what you can do is make that a buyable option (essentially the only perk we will have is the knife) because I do get annoyed when I want to switch weapon to my secondary or back to my primary and then I end up with the knife when I don't want it. Sometimes I cannot even get to one of my weapons (stuck in a loop between the ppsh and a knife is very very annoying when I don't want the ppsh but my sniper. I have seen the knife perk used in the IAF server and it works well; I don't have to always carry a knife and it costs no points at all so what that means is that it an optional choice for the players that want to use the knife.

There is plenty to do in Neverwinter. Sure there are quests but there are fun dungeon raids and skirmishes to do as well as plenty of other things as well. I currently have two characters on there. A level 48 (I think) Devoted Cleric and then there is my Hunter Ranger but I forgot his level. The best stuff starts at level 60 BUT getting there is the fun part too, you always have something to do

Not too sure if I wanna play it or not. I prefer the old ones (1 to 5) and find them a LOT more enjoyable than any after that. Sure the multiplayer can be fun and addictive which is their strongest point (although they recycle a lot of things) but in all honesty, old is gold and when I get the money, 4 and 5 are coming straight to my PC via Steam. Not that interested in many of the other ones

That could work. We have some XI Custom maps already don't we? Why not use one of them such as Glamorgan. Put our names in it as well and also fix the passcode for that damn door underground to the bar!! Or we could go old school and have a mod like the one we had running when our server was newish?

no, it won't be done by then. It's a shame really that we don't have any at the moment then. I would like to make one but it would take me way too long to even learn what I am doing. It's an idea of course and not all ideas work

Just an idea I have had floating around for a while now: As it is around 10 years since XI came to be and had CoD 2 as one of its founding games I was thinking that we make a map to mark that ten years for the clan and CoD2 being on our server list. We can include things that we like from all maps such as close quarter fighting, long range fighting, bashing and what not and perhaps a wall of all the CoD2 Admins (past and present) as well as another wall for some of the clans top CoD2 players. I will also ask my old man, Noddy, if he would want to join us when the map is done or if we have a 10th anniversary get together on the server with our favorite maps and going back to the mod we had when it was at its busiest. This is just a thought of course, I would like some input on this idea.

I might check this out one day. I just got Archeage so I want to play some of that first but I might check this game out.

Downloaded it this morning as soon as I looked on Origin to see what was on house. Will play more of it later once I have done some of my work for university

CoD4 and WaW were the peak of the CoD franchise in my opinion and it sucks to see it take such a shit route. Yes I do play some of the other games after WaW but only when I am at a friends place. The thing is, the developers know where their market is and that is mainly young teens and young adults who own consoles etc. That must be their biggest demographic of them all so that is where they will get the most money. It's all about money with some companies. "Lets recycle the same shit every year and slap a new name on it. They won't notice." We do notice. We do. I'm considering trying it out but they key word there is considering.
