Its a 3.5 headset with two jacks on it, one for sound and one for the mic, they both work fine in the ports they belong in because I can chat with my friends on Steam and Skype but not in COD2 like I said. The computer has detected it of course, or I won't be able to use the mic, it's just COD not detecting it, it's getting frustrating to say the least! It's not a USB one like I explained but when I DID have a USB one years ago, it worked fine, as did my other old one that was 3.5 instead

So, I finally got a new mic, plug it all in and get it ready to rock and roll on the COD2 servers, nothing working! I get sound but no voice is being detected. It might sound like I fucked up yes, but that's not the case. It seems to work fine normally, I can have a voice chat on Steam and Skype perfectly fine with no issues but when it comes to COD2, it completely cuts out and all I get is sound like a usual pair of headphones with no mic. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do that might actually get my mic to work on COD2? I tried looking in the options and talking but nothing came up on the bar that detects sound. It works on everything put COD it seems lol

I so wish I could have recorded that game, that was so funny, never laughed so much in a while

Early happy christmas idiots! I was wondering if it is possible over the christmas period to have an idiot get together on the COD2 servers, just get together one weekend and have a great time before the year is over. I can't do New Years Eve or Day so that is another reason I am suggesting this

I'm getting a problem like this, I cannot get any response from the master server, but my favourites run fine for some reason. I can connect to the DM and TDM servers fine but not luck getting hold of the open house server (if it is up yet).

I was going to suggest a sniper server, they are still popular on COD2, there are some around and I was thinking it will be a lot of fun. I remember when I was playing as NoddyJR that sniper maps were a lot of fun and I loot forward to seeing them up again. Plus I can kick Newf's arse lol

Well for me, my schedule is busy until wednesday because I have college monday, tuesday and wednesday and have to go at 10pm GMT most times which is quite some time ahead of a lot of other players.

I'm stuck on the tip of south east england. Oh fun lol

Yea, that might be a little too late for me if I remember the timezone difference. It'll be nice to play other games apart from COD2 with members. Plus that map looks like a lot of fun!

So I finally decided to get my Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars updated and I was wondering if anyone on here plays it at all. I saw the >XI< server but it was empty which is a shame. I am new to the game and wanted someone from XI to join me. If anyone still plays it, let me know and we can organize a time to play together.

Mine internet is connected to my router through wireless so if my dad loses his internet, I can certainly kiss mine goodbye for the duration of this storm. Hopefully the power might last and if it doesn't, means I can focus more on my art work and anything else I have lying around to do

I have a few friends out in Dover and Folkestone, hope they are okay to be honest. We have plenty of flasks to use at home and I think we will make good use of them all! ~ "Quite dangerous?" are they trying to sugar coat it?
