Now there's a true Idiot. There should be a new medal for folks like mikey1799 who will give hours of their time coming to the rescue of others - a sort of people's choice medal that folks may request be awarded. (That way, I can nominate myself so I at least have one frickin' medal.)

Twenty-four XI members were purged from the Xfire list today as once again, we were closing in on 300 Xfire members (our Xfire limit) and so we drop Idiots who don't use Xfire so that new recruits have the opportunity. Most were tossed for not accessing Xfire for more than 45 days. You're at risk of being bumped if you don't use Xfire for 30 days, but 45 was sufficient in this purge. But, we also tossed 7 members because their Xfire profiles were hidden. There's no notice if you hide your profile; at the next purge, you'll be bumped automatically. It's a rule of membership in XI Xfire that your profile remain open - that's the only means we have of checking whether you use Xfire. If you were among those bumped, you'll be immediately reinstated upon request. Harry (Xfire ADM)

You may belong to multiple social groups and organizations but you have only one family. And that's the key word here - as mentioned in some other good responses. We like to think of ourselves that way. When you join XI, you become part of this family and we take that relationship seriously.

Fireurza, you must be seeing the one where she pops them out completely, rubs them with baby oil and puts 'em right in your face, right? Digital switches them out; in the other one, she just unzippers her vest and you don't see anything.

Always and humble and unassuming, and as one who does not like to draw attention to himself, I removed all those medals that the clan awarded me from under my avatar. My affinity is with the true Idiots of XI who don't get and don't need no stinkin' medals trashing up their image. You glory hounds can keep all that stuff. We peons, we warriors, we medal-less Idiots, will sally forth with greater pride. And no, that's not a tear running down our faces; it's just the dust blowing off all those medals you other Idiots are wearing getting into our eye.

Some job listings on Gamasutra noticed by Eurogamer offer indications that the upcoming Call of Duty game in the works at Slegehammer is a first-person shooter, in spite of previous indications that this would be more of an action/adventure installment in the military shooter series. Their overview for their help wanted ads has this straightforward sentence: "Sledgehammer Games is actively recruiting top industry talent to join the Call of Duty FPS development team."
