And speaking of which... Some time back I suggested an XI Old Farts Club. XI Administration did not act on it because they are a bunch of wild young pups who don't respect their elders. So we'll do it without them. If you're over 55, you automatically are a member. So what are the benefits of membership? They're aren't any. Where is our Old Fart's Club presence on the XI web site? We don't have one. How do we recognize each other on the servers? You make a fart sound. Why even bother with this? Because it's Wednesday and I'm otherwise bored. Thoughts??

I'm looking forward to becomming an Old Fart so I'll have an excuse for all those behaviors I currently engage in.

Thanks, but it's not a thankless job. We Admin get 10 percent more health and kill power than you maggots and automatically bump other XI members if a server is full. We get a free subscription to Rugger's "Big-Uns" magazine and the monthly Crisco parties at Bud's place are a blast. And we get weekly delivery of a case of beer compliments of the "dues" you suckers pay. I'm pretty happy with it and I really appreciate the 20-year retirement plan and full health benefits. Plus, I've now got 31 XI members paying me a monthly $10 bribe to allow them to cheat. So all-in-all, it's well worth it being an XI Admin.

Might be interesting for a map or two; otherwise seems to me it sucks donkey dicks. I don't want to just lay there waiting to see if somebody discovers me. But there is something interesting here: that you can change your appearance. Back in the day, you could change from a "soldier" to something else in Quake - at least, I think it was Quake. Your "character" could be an animal, an object - all manner of things, and it was a real hoot to see what some players looked like. That would be a fun mod for COD. But at the least, you should be able to change skins - to a woman or man, certainly - but also various uniforms. The ultimate mod, to me, would be the ability to upload a head shot of yourself and have it mold to your character's face so we could actually see each other; and pick body shapes for folks who are skinny, and those somewhat larger than that.
