I enjoy playing with Shawdow despite the rusty linoleum knife she keeps deballing me with. But how is the game "spoiled" by taking advantage of technology - which all of us do to various extent? Some have faster systems, better vid cards, larger monitors with better display, faster broadband, different keyboard/mouse assignments to improve personal gameplay, etc. and etc. For instance, I have a physical deficiency due to a stroke which leaves me unable to play using a mouse. And so I use a trackball/joystick combination (visit here and click on video: http://assassi.ning.com) and if I win a map, great. If I don't, great. I play for enjoyment; it's not my personal objective to always be top gun.
Bottom line, there are to many variables to improve one's ability to compete and anything you do within the technological limits of PC gaming - other than software cheats - should not be at issue in our clan. What an unholy mess if we began to enforce rules on keyboard/mouse binds - where does that lead? If someone's shooting too fast for your liking with a particular gun because they have bound fire to a scroll wheel, you're free to do the same.
Nice discussion. And SCooBY, PLEASE show us the full image of that incredible body...
