Vaild point @WldPenguin a couple of options being bootcamp and needing to restart into windows or a VM with the associated non-hardware direct performance hit especially in graphics performance. Likely the ideal situation would be running a MacOS VM with the older OS that supports 32-bit. -

So the end result here was he eventually purchased the 'Mac App Store' version of the game, which allowed it to use the mic. No matter any longer because both the Steam and App Store versions which are only 32-bit were yanked because of the next version of MacOS not running 32-bit apps. RIP COD4 on Mac. -
get on the server which will load the mod, hit escape go to Controls -> Multiplayer Controls ->Use Streak 1 through 3 deployments.

As much as I'd hoped based on previous information that the COD4 for Mac binary would be one that was being converted over for 64-bit. I got word back from Aspyr this morning that it is not going to be. 10:09 AM]AspyrBash: It will not be updated to 64-bit

Yep, had this problem for a while after an update to Win 10 a year ago or so. Solution @J3st3r pointed me to was using windowed mode instead of full screen. Now it only crashes occasionally. Crappy 13 year old 32-bit software that COD4 is.

Confirmed that at this time of these COD5 servers: They are all using redirect.xtremeidiots.net EXCEPT the sniper server which has the nonexistent in DNS 'redirect storage.xtremeidiots.net' It will slowly feed from the main server because it fails over but less than ideal and I'd guess some admin @djMot ? could rectify that.
